I don't know if anyone already posted this question but i think that "Name the most important show that you've done" or the best show or something like that would be great.

i think these are good :)

What do you think of all the kids who look up to you? (Like me)

Do you think it's weird that your kids can be friends with your fans?

How do you feel about younger fans?

If you could do one thing to change the world what would you do?

What are some of your favorite bands of the moment?

5) What was your most hardest song for you to write(not just on american idiot, on any cd)?

have you guys ever googled yourselves? ahaha

hahah..yeah i like those :whistling:

its wierd that i cant think of my own.. xP

Since the guys are huge Beatles fans, I was always curious;

For Billie Joe specifically; John Lennon once mentioned that he was a songwriter who happened to play the guitar and who happened to be able to sing. Would you consider yourself a songwriter who also just happens to be able to sing and play the guitar?

Random questions for the band;

1) You meet your soul mate. However, there is a catch: Every three years, someone will break your soul mate's collarbones with a Crescent wrench, and there is only one way you can stop this from happening: You must swallow a pill that will make every song you hear--for the rest of your life--sound as if it's being performed by the band Alice in Chains. When you hear Creedence Clearwater Revival on the radio, it will sound (to your ears) like it's being played by Alice in Chains. If you see Radiohead live, every one of their tunes will sound like it's being covered by Alice in Chains. When you hear a commerical jingle on TV, it will sound like Alice in Chains; if you sing to yourself in the shower, your voice will sound like the deceased Alice vocalist Layne Staley performing a capella (but it will only sound this way to you.)

Would you swallow the pill?

2) At long last, someone invents the 'dream VCR.' This machine allows you to tape an entire evening's worth of your won dreams, which you can then watch at your leisure. However, the inventor of the dream VCR will only allow you to use this device if you agree to a strange caveat: when you watch your dreams, you must do so with your family and closest friends in the same room. They get to watch your dreams along with you. And if you don't agree to this, you can't use the dream VCR. Would you still do this?

3) Let us assume you met a rudimentary magician. Let us assume he can do five simple tricks-he can pull a rabbit out of his hat, he can make a coin disappear, he can turn the ace of spades into the joker card, and two others in a similar vein. These are his only tricks and he can't learn anymore; he can only do these five. HOWEVER, it turns out he's doing these five tricks with real magic. It's not an illusion; he can actually conjure the bunny out of the ether and he can move the coin through space. He's legitimately magical, but extremely limited in scope and influence. Would this person be more impressive than Albert Einstein?

Yeah... I read those questions once in a really good book and I figured I post them. Something different. :)

Aw, fuck, I love those - and yet they're so horrible! I want to answer them myself!

The John Lennon one, I think you're right on the money with that.

Of the others -

The first one - you can't have perfect love without paying a terrible price - well, fuck that! It's easier to believe that than to hold out for what you want.

Btw, I hate all of those bands - Radiohead sounding like anything except one long drone would have to be an improvement.

Second one - no problemo! My family and friends should watch a kick-ass movie once in a while, and I don't censor for anyone anyway!

Third one - he wouldn't be more impressive, he'd be equally impressive.

I suppose you'd rather know what Green Day think - but in case we just get to find out what Billie Joe's hair smells like (Teen Spirit?!), have the response of the local lyric-whore! :)

Waiting seemed to be a very personal song, even sad in a remote way. What drove you to write this song, and what had you been "Waiting a Lifetime" for?

there was a question on the Idiot Club about how B's kids felt about the shows and their dad being a rockstar.

but he didnt really say anything. he just kinda said that they're alright with it. so....maybe we can ask it again idk

I have to say I don't feel comfortable with asking any kind of questions about their children; surely fans, of all people, can see the intrusion that is?

I think it's fair enough to ask whatever question about themselves, be it their music or their own feelings, but I think that's where I personally would draw the line in terms of respect.

It seems that Insomniac is green day´s darkest record, do you find it hard to listen or bring you back bad memories?

To the band:

Do you keep in touch with Al Sobrante? ( I dont know if this one should be asked)

How was your first show like?

Mike - How do you feel when people think your loads older than Billie and Tre....or didnt you know they did? and do you ever feel "left out" by your fans - I mean - generally I hear people talking about Billie and Tre more than you?

It's strange I know - but its just something I've noticed and its a pretty lame question too....im sorry :/

I've been thinking about what question I want to ask, but I can't come up with anything except:

''Does it feel weird or creepy that some people basically knows all your life stories?''

I know, it isn't good.

But I like the one about why they don't playing 1039/Smooth and/or Kerplunk! songs at concerts. I've always wondered that.

---Directed to all of them---

1) Does any of your family listen to you?

2) When you go grocery shopping or things like that, do you think twice about going out, do you think about people taking your picture or asking for autographs?

3) When you go out on tour, will you play more stuff from 39/smooth and kerplunk? you have just seemed to not play any of those songs for a long time

4) What are some of the worst rumors or funniest you've heard about you?

i like these ones :D

I really like that one, but I think it would be kind of mean or rude to ask that.
