Bullshit as in 'untrue' or just of no value? :ermm:

As in untrue. But I was wondering if the interview is a fake? Do you know "Billie Joe is my hero"? And btw, your name is Beathe, right?

Has Billie always had that skull tattoo on his left shoulder!? Or is it new...?

Yes, I'm pretty sure he has had this tattoo for quite a few years. It's not really clear in this picture but it is already on his shoulder back in the Pop Disaster tour.

I hope this works.

Sorry, I didn't mean to quote img tags. I won't do it again.

It's right above the car (on his left shoulder), but it doesn't show up well in the pics.

Look at the link in post #1561 above (it wouldn't copy for me...sorry).

Thanks Parley, I see it now. How could he have gotten that without me knowing??? :/

Well Viv isn't known for her subtely for sure, I think if there was any influence on those scans, it would have been rather more IN YOUR FACE.

IN YOUR FACE, like her boobs generally tend to be, lol? I seem to recall her meeting some Royal or other in a see-thru dress, and following Billie Joe's 'don't wear underwear' fashion advice! Have you seen her new jewellery collection? Diamond-encrusted safety-pins - shame! Or irony - whatever, they're expensive.

Edit - oh hang on, I get it - the skull thing!

Well, Westwood's an artist in her own right - her stuff is amazing and flamboyant. Billie Joe's style was low-key up to the AI era - by which I mean, the more high-fashion stuff he wore to the Bullet premieres, rather than what he wore onstage; Adrienne always had this nice retro thing going on, but neither seems to be coming out in the Adeline clothes - the design is kind of timid and utilitarian, sexless.

I think knowing what you like, and being able to translate that into interesting clothes are two different things, and like anything else, you need to have a passion for something to make it live. Billie Joe's passion is in his music - he said one time, talking about his acting possibilities, that every time you give to something that isn't your main purpose in life, it's like you're giving away little bits of your soul; I can't imagine he'd give much of his soul for a tee-shirt!

You're right there is a disconnect between the influences they speak of and the final product as yet. The challenges for a fledgling clothing line are daunting and so many fail - let's hope it doesn't distract Billie from his true passion, the music or that we never see Green Day in head to toe Adeline like that shot of the Living End. :)
