I chose "No and I don't want to." When I started liking them I always planned to write to them or email them or whatever, but I just never got around to it. Plus I would probably make it way to long or way to short. I have no intention of writing to them anytime soon.

When I first got into them, at the age of 11 or so, I filled an entire 3-subject notebook with letters to each of them ((one for Billie Joe, Mike, and Tre)) but decided not to, or maybe I just didn't get around to it...I'm not sure

But it's not like they sit down once every month or so and read all the fan mail, let alone write back. If you have something to say to them, then sneak in their window and hold their childeren ransom untill they agree to sit and let you read your letter to them...and make them play you a song

...not that I'd do that :whistling:

My friends and I wrote a letter to Green Day about 3 years ago... It was LONG, hilarious, and we put loads of effort into it, but we never got a reply back. I don't think the record company gives even 1/8th of the letters sent to the band to them.

No, I haven't, and I don't want to. They probably get so much fan mail as it is my letter wouldn't even matter, so I don't see the point.

Actually yes.

Last winter I was in the Green Day fans meeting. Everyone made own letter for guys and then them set to one big envelope.

It's kinda sad though... one of the little things my friends & I put in the letter was a little card with Goodies (liquorice candies) attached to it, saying, "Mike, you're so dandy we're sending you candy" And we sent Tre a picture of a poster that was hanging in our school for AIDS protection- it had rubber ducks all over it, but one duck was on top of another,a nd it said, "Rubber your ducky" XD... I don't remember what Billie's was @@

It was a whole bunch of weirdness that letter, but I'm sure they would have gotten a kick out of it if they read it.

no and I dont want to.

Ive got nothing to say or ask. They are still like unknown people for me so why would i write to strangers? Yeah i know they are famous but just because they make music.. for the rest they are only human.

Information we want to know.. well they'll tell everyone anyway when they want us something to know.

Touring and stuff... they have their own plans and stuff. Where they can gain the most money, that's where they go.

I wrote this really shitty teenie-esque letter that was like... three and a half pages long. Without double spacing.

I never sent it, though.

It was several years ago.

I knew they would would neither receive nor read it.

So I didn't wanna get my hopes up.

I wrote them a letter...but I plan to hand it to them in person.

Or write it in sheep's blood on the walls of their homes.
