Michael Jackson? LOL! Wow... Alien Ant Farm did it. But Green Day is better than that.

No.

Please, no.

I second that revulsion.

I think they'd do a good cover of 'Just Tonight' by Jimmy Eat World.

I say they cover a pop song that's in the charts. That'd be entertaining.

Seriously though, another Ramones cover would be great. Surfin Bird, I Wanna Be Sedated or It's Not My Place In The 9 to 5 World would all be awesome.

I'd like to see them do a cover of "Let there be love" By John Lennon! I think it would suit them coz we've all seen what a great job they did on "Working Class Hero" I think slow song work best for them to cover!!! :D

Android!!

oh, wait, that's their own song.

why should they cover other bands when they are capable of making awesome music on their own?

^Or do both. They've done some excellent covers in the past and obviously have a laugh doing it. I like the occasional cover, it's fun.

Seriously, we need to petition them to do an album of Beatles covers or something. I wanna hear it, goddamn it! :D

I don't think that's a very good idea. If we have to wait so long for an album of original work, a covers album might take decades...

 I know, I wasn't thinking this suggestion would actually be taken up by Green Day, believe it or not! I just had a craving for some sweet 60s sounds being sung to perfection by Billie Joe's sensational voice :P

Gonna go and listen to some Foxboro Hot Tubs now :D

They should cover Bleeding Love - Leona Lewis, or maybe that Kylie song that goes "I just can't get you outta my head" I'd love to see that

It would've been fun to see/hear 'em do some Rancid stuff, let's say Maxwell Murder. It was the first ever Rancid song I heard, and we'll find out if Mike can shred like Freeman.

That would be cool.

Maybe they should do some country stuff but put a punk edge on it. Has anyone heard Social Distortion's version of Cash's Ring of Fire? It is fucking awesome.
