Did Green Day influence you to start learning an insrument?

Um yes cause i was in middle school when i started liking green day and i was sick of just playing keyboard so when i got to high school i learnt guitar, bass and a bit of drums.

yep! i learned how to play the piano, and i'm gonna study the drums this summer. they inspired me to continue playing the guitar.

Yes! I started playing guitar when i realised how much fun it really was. I'm not taking any lessons apart from my music class at school so at home i just watch other guitarists play and learn to play tabs.

tre influenced me to start learning the drums and after 2 years i wanted a change so i started with the bass, now ive been playing the bass for 1 year and i am still taking lessons on both.

yep they did influence me they influenced my to play guitar because i wanted to make music like them. they also influenced me to start a band

I'd always wanted to play guitar but never got round to it until i saw BIAB, seeing Billie Joe running about on stage was just amazing and inspiring.

They influenced me alot, but i always wanted to learn guitar. But i found that lately for some reason ive been listening to how they play the songs. and so i brought a second hand electric guitar and im self learning. its hard, but ill get the hang of it one day hopefully. But Green Day did help influence me especially after seeing them in concert.

damn you people are so lucky you can just get a guitar and start playing. i've always wanted to play the drums or guitar, but my mom said the drums were too loud. well now i really want that guitar but i have to work academically to get it. sucks ass , but at least i have a goal now. :/

Hell yeah, if Billie Joe had never come around I would never have done something with my dreams, got a guitar, started a band and started writing music again.

And to you people who can't afford your instrument, try to find a used one to get. I got my awsome guitar from a guy who didn't want it anymore for 600 crowns.. That's about 60$.

two reasons got me playing the drums: Tre Cool and because I like to hit things. I could play When I Come Around when I was about 6, but I didn't start lessons till 8.

but Billie did inspire me to pick up the gutiar....too bad I SUCK at it.
