I went to a live concert and now I can't live without my guitar. How the hell did that happen so fast?

no not really. i mean i'd always liked em but wanting to learn an instrument was a separate thing. i was in grade three okay. i didn't connect green day with guitar and learning it.

It went like this: IU played air guitar since I was 9, I discovered Green Day when I was 10, I played air bass since I was 11 (Those were the teenie days *rolls eyes*), and played real guitar since I was 12. So I think the guitar came before the Green Day.

Well it's kindof...easier...than real guitar, because the frets and strings are never in the same place

When I was 8 years old I started to learn the guitar but I after 1 1/2 years I quit doing that because I wanted to go to the college of physical education, so there was no more time to play the guitar. But now, due to Green Day I want to play the guitar again and I wanna take it seriously.

I started to play piano when I was six or seven. Yes, i've always wanted to play guitar but i don't have a guitar or enough money to by one.

Funny this came up. I used to play the drums, but yeah BJ did influence me to start playing guitar.. i saw how cool he looked and i said i wanna be like that one day. I stopped playing drums and very slowly started to learn guitar. Now i gotta become a rock star!

Apart from Limpbizkit, Green Day was the first guitar based music I listened to, so they definately influenced me to play the guitar. Oh and to be honest I only started learning bass so I could learn the Longview bass line :D
