I was watching Ellen (as I do every day), and she was having her cousin on, who is form New Orleans, and while he was coming out they played GD's and U2's version of The Saints Are Coming. I was so darn happy.

And, on Jimmy a couple of days ago, when they were going into commercial break, the band started playing Holiday.

Edit: I can't remember what the show is called (it's the one with this teenage girl, Hilary, she has two brothers and her parents are like, young and hip), and it was someone's birthday, and what they wanted were Green Day tickets.

On the ABC's of Rock GD are frequently mentioned. Bush Bashing for B, Dookie for D, Green Day as the featured artist for G, Sings like Cher for S (inspired by BJ making fun of Nickleback), and some other one when they focused on Jason White, I think it might have been Odd Man Out for O. I'm guessing.

On From the Ramones to Green Day, music fans and critics were basically praising GD.

I think it was the farewell episode of Seinfeld, and they played Good Riddance while they showed different scenes from old shows. It was so awesome.

i was watching abc last night and 20/20 came on or some show like that and they kept talking about

the jesus of suburbia. turns out some guy in texas claims he is the 2nd rencarnation of jesus.

he claims to be christ, god, and the anti-christ. he has himself quite a following to, in his religion sin and hell do not exist. i found it funny cuz since he lives in the suburbs the show coined him the JESUS OF SUBUBIA

just thought it was something worth reading about

I saw a GD poster in the boys room on that "Grounded for Life" Series, you can see it just behind the bed, so half if it is covered by it :P

And the ones you all know about already, in The Simpson movie and on the My Scene movie.

I remember hearing American Idiot on european Gigolo's movie trailer but not in the movie(same with wedding crashers) When I saw one of those trailers in the cinema I satarted singing out loud and my friends got embaressed it was so funny

Ohh and Westbound Signs on Cars trailer, nottt in the movie...me and my boyfriend were so dissapointed :/ we really wanted to hear it in a Pixar movie(since we love Pixar) oh wel...

I liked the ones you mentioned and I soooooooo wanna see Tre' singing Jingle Bells! :woot:

On tonight's 11 o'clock showing of The Daily Show With Jon Stewart, Green Day's "American Idiot" played in the backgrund during the nightly "Moment of Zen" reel. At least, I THINK it was Green Day. I am tired so I might be hearing things. I was bored so I decided to post this information. And I'm killing time between Colbert Report commercial breaks. Comercials are out so I'll be going. Peace out.
