Guest Shangri-La
Has this forum devolved to the point where we feel the need to rate our fandom to feel superior over one another? A fan's a fan. Regardless of how long you've actually been obsessed or a diehard fan, you're still a fan.no.
.Militza.
I forgot that I have one notebook, and it's full of their lyrics. It keeps me entertained during class.
Maddy.
My Room. It's a bit embarrassing actually when people come over & see all the posters/pictures/news clippings.Um, I have four GD shirts & they're all super comfy so I wear them lots. When people say something that relates to a Green Day song, I'll sing a line from it. I have this one sweater, and it's not a GD merch sweater or anything, but when people see it, they're like holy shit Green Day much?People hate it when I do that :/
Hermione
I like Green Day, therefore I am a fan of them. I get a lot of enjoyment out of them so there's probably quite a lot of signs of that , although I've never been into merchandise much.I don't think being a fan of a band is something to be proud of though. Very glad of yeah, but proud of no! So it's not something to be 'rated'.
Maddy.
I'm a fan, yeah. I don't have to prove it by how much money I've spent on them. I only have American Idiot, 21st Century Breakdown and Dookie (in that order)And 1 poster For me, just take a look at my room! It just shouts out that i love them! And sometimes i go out dressing like billie joe! (yep! even though i'm a girl!) I'd copy his messy hair, eyeliner and i'd wear that a tie on a tight collar- so billie!Does this seem a bit teenie to you too?
jenni
I can't help buying things related to themI can't stop talking about themI only listen to themI only have GD posters on my wallsI always do things related to themAll my money is spent is GD stuffAnd I've learned English that to them and I keep trying improving it in case my dream would come true... emmaILGD!
Tell-tale signs? Well, just by looking at me you wouldn't be able to guess I was a Green Day fan.
Isabel
Has this forum devolved to the point where we feel the need to rate our fandom to feel superior over one another? A fan's a fan. Regardless of how long you've actually been obsessed or a diehard fan, you're still a fan. We all have that in common, so lets stop trying to segregate ourselves unintentionally. Instead, lets intentionally segregate ourselves from the teenies, as well as raz the newbies.Ah sure it's nothing malicious. Just a bit of kissing and telling

mallorymaloney
Probably the fact I talk about/think of/listen to their music constantly That and all my walls have sported Green Day posters since the dawn of time, along with owning all the albums and a bunch of merch/shirts and other materialistic GD stuff.Oh! And the fact I only started wearing black eyeliner when I was 16 because of Billie Joe. That is an actual fact, right there, and people usually laugh at me if I tell them about it --- But I hardly care. They can suck my clit, if I'm going to be perfectly honest. Ally
i guess it shows when my room is covered with green day posters and shit, and i most of the concerts, rare stuff and the albums on my ipod, most of the dvd's, i record everything with them on that i see on tv, my car used to have GD stickers all inside until i had a new car and dad FORBID me to put stickers in it. i have 8 GD t-shirts and i even have the socks and shoe laces. To much merch. And most things people say remind me of something green day whether it be a song of theres or something one of them said. I am kinda obsessed. Oh and the main thing, they helped me through a lotta tough times.
04rebhop
There is no more space on my wall for posters because it's already covered in Green Day pictures and posters. All i seem to wear is my Green Day t'shirts.

Chelsea Hotel
def! me too. green day is better than a fuckin sweet 16.i'm in this green day thing for life also.i have shirts i wear so much, i do things because they do things, i started wearing chuck taylors thanks to "well i'm a hater a traitor in a pair of chuck taylors!"...and tre. i'm ALWAYS listening to them, ipod is always on green day. everytime i HEAR they're name, i freak out and start ranting about them. i printed pics for my wall and put them up. i have a gd stand from hot topic, and sometimes i ONLY go to the mall to find gd things. if i cant find any, i leave.Heh, the last like five times I've been in Hot Topic it was for Green Day merch. I just got 39/Smooth on vinyl there today. And they did, ah, influence my decision to start wearing Chuck Taylors in seventh grade. Green Day >>>>>>>>> Sweet 16.
