Weirdest place you've heard a green day song being played?

They used to always play a bit of 'Holiday' on Bargain Hunt, that was pretty weird. And I remember seeing some holiday programme where they played 'Last Ride In' during a bit about a serene, relaxing lake, made me laugh.

in my geography lesson once my teacher played international superhits. Me and my friend were like : :woot: and then people who hate Green Day (and us) were like:  "you suck". Then we said "how come she's not playing Chris Brown then?" (which is what they like). That was the best Geography lesson ever!

My friend & I went to the mall one time, and the Hello Kitty store had "American Idiot" playing...

it was... odd.

(we didn't go in, we just passed by it when we heard it.)

Costco lol (idk why). It was Longview. I think I heard it in Claire's once too, I'm not sure. Or when this really tall guy at my old school started singing BOBD while playing basketball. It was at school, so I guess that's a place hehe.

And for randomness, I once had a dream that I heard Alligator at a school supplies store. I started dancing, and the employees though I was crazy.

Several Dookie/Warning songs at an ice rink, during a match. Misery was played whilst I was once eating a meal in Henry J Beans and then not so long ago, in a Crowne Plaza hotel in Cambridge, Good Riddance was being played in the restaurant at breakfast....odd to say the least.

Ooh oh and I'm sure the beginning instrumental part of Extraordinary Girl used to be played on the horse racing on TV...?

yesterday I went to the store, and Good Riddance was being played on the radio in there. Also, I was in Hairy Queen (Dairy Queen) a few months ago, and Waiting came on... She say's loudly "Shit, it's Green Day". I just look at her oddly and say "I don't know you, get the fuck away from me". lol.

many times some radios play their songs, and that kind of radios are not related to green day...

I was working out at Curves. They play continuous music that has been re-recorded (I won't say "covered") for work-out purposes by unknown artists all at the same tempo. That's my least favorite part of Curves. I can't shut it out by listening to my Zune, because I won't hear when it's time to change to the next station, and most of the music is just horrible. At least it gives me incentive to get finished and get out.

Anyway, I was working out one day, and a song started that sounded familiar. I was thinking, "No... it can't be ... is it? .... OMG it is!!!" It was Boulevard of Broken Dreams all jazzed up. I couldn't decide whether I was upset to hear such a lousy version of the song (and it was kind of funny because the mood/tempo was so wrong for the song) or happy because they were playing a Green Day song. I was SOOOO conflicted!
