The Disappearing Boy
they played warning in the middle of a restaurant in italy about a year ago. also at the end of a football match, our team had beaten our local rivals and they played good riddance over the tannoy. i was very happy
BillieJoeGDay
Here in Spain they play GD a lot. In a show called Pocholo '07 they play a lot of GD songs, like "Walking Alone" or "Castaway", and in an Antena3 commercial they played Holiday

Micky K
anywhere you hear Green Day being played is never a 'weird place or time'. any band is the same. but any time i go into this restaraunt in the city, i always hear them play Good Riddance... & its always a compilation cd they play. They must see me walk through the door with my friends or family & go "oh look! theres that girl that loves Green Day!" lmao. I'd laugh if that was what they really said! But, a weird place i've ever heard Green Day played?....ummmm....can't think of a 'weird place', unless you can call my English class a weird place...they played it when we were talking about the play 'Blood Brothers', they played 'Basket Case'. lol. i suppose you could say it suits it nicely! Countrygirl
Everytime I go grocery shopping (Holiday, BOBD, WMUWSE, AI), at the dentist (Pulling Teeth, Brain Stew, and Basket Case), in the classroom(everything cause we're all obsessed), when I go to the gym (American Idiot), or in the car (duh). No matter where I go Green Day follows me.
DeJennsitized
Our school choir had to sing Good Riddance two years ago, at a Prize Day. It was so wierd. We had to sing it slightly different (maybe cause the choir teacher taught us it from a music sheet) and I kept forgetting and singing the words a little faster than everyone else. communitykid
They used to play them at the skating rink when they were big as hell. They'll be big as hell again, don't get me wrong, but right now is the "I don't care" part of being one of those people that changes there favorite band every day. Anyway, the skating rink plays only hip hop and maybe some Nickelback so if Green Day were played these days I might wet myself. Not that I go there. Only when friends drag me there. I like to ramble....
