cris_spain
Oh yeah!! And I have to add to my list of things for thank to Green Day for my change in music style. Before them,I usually listened Anastacia(I like she yet,and I don´t have problems with her)but other like Paulina Rubio,Backstr..,Destiny´sChild... and etc.Obligated pop from the radio and R&B fro my cousins, that hate rock. I love Green Day,and thanks them I started to know other awesome bands, and now I´m completely in the rock/rockpunk.etc.. genre.

tunny_the_drummer
yes and no. Before Green Day I barely listened to music, and the little music that I listened to was stuff like Avril Lavigne, baisically steriotypical stuff. But after I started listening to Green Day, I got into music way more, and I started to discover punk/alternative/rock type stuff. The more bands that I got into, the more music was important to me. Now, music is baisically my life. I listen to it, play it, and it helped me through my dads death in October.
Bastard
Yes. Before I discovered Green Day, I listened to just about every music genre there was. After Green Day, is got narrowed down, heh. I remember back in 2003 or 2004, when Green Day had I Fought The Law on that iTunes commercial, and once when I was listening to it my brother came in and said that The Clash's version of that song was so much better, and so I found The Clash. And from there I just found a million other bands, heh.

DisappearingBoy95
I listened to a lot shitty stuff before Green Day. My dad got Dookie in '94 and that was the end of the other shit. So, then once I got really into them a while later (cause I was little when Dookie came out), I got into all the old punk bands like the Sex Pistols and The Clash etc. Now punk rock is all I basically listen to, although there is of course other stuff I like. I thank Green Day for that.

Then, my friend introduced me to Green Day, and my musical taste changed for the better.

Bryn
I have pretty diverse tastes, so I wouldn't say they changed them, however; they expanded them. I now listen to bands like Bad Religion, The Dead Kennedys, The Misfits, stuff like that. So more punk than I had been exposed to, which is a good thing.
