yes totally befor Green Day i didint care for music

and when i listend it was poppy stuf like RBD ,Kumbia kings

Christina aguilera well still like some of her but the rest

was crap  when i heard Green Day for the first time

i said they were okay but i was courius for that style of music

and the same day i herd them i heard to My Chemical Romance

and passed the time i goted Into GD My chem Good charlotte

and there it went without knowing i changed my taste in

music and started into pure rock bands thank god and

know i dont like the music i liked before maybe thats

why my dad thinks im wierd with the music i like

but yea thanks To Green Day for Introducing me

to The Good Music

i was the same, i can't stand a lot of pop music and hate rnb and hip hop now.

am totally into rock bands and a good guiter/bass/drum beat.

I've been completely obsess with them every since, bought every album, book, dvd.

I can't believe, i wasn't into them at a younger stage in my life, I do remember my friend years ago liking them, but I didn't really think much of them back then

Oh yeah!! And I have to add to my list of things for thank to Green Day for my change in music style.

Before them,I usually listened Anastacia(I like she yet,and I don´t have problems with her)but other like Paulina Rubio,Backstr..,Destiny´sChild... and etc.Obligated pop from the radio and R&B  fro my cousins, that hate rock.

I love Green Day,and thanks them I started to know other awesome bands, and now I´m completely in the rock/rockpunk.etc.. genre.

yes and no. Before Green Day I barely listened to music, and the little music that I listened to was stuff like Avril Lavigne, baisically steriotypical stuff. But after I started listening to Green Day, I got into music way more, and I started to discover punk/alternative/rock type stuff. The more bands that I got into, the more music was important to me. Now, music is baisically my life. I listen to it, play it, and it helped me through my dads death in October.

Yes. Before I discovered Green Day, I listened to just about every music genre there was. After Green Day, is got narrowed down, heh. I remember back in 2003 or 2004, when Green Day had I Fought The Law on that iTunes commercial, and once when I was listening to it my brother came in and said that The Clash's version of that song was so much better, and so I found The Clash. And from there I just found a million other bands, heh.

Before I started listening to Green Day, I wasn't really into music.

I didn't listen to any type of music until my friend showed me some Green Day songs and I found what I really love .

I listened to a lot shitty stuff before Green Day. My dad got Dookie in '94 and that was the end of the other shit. So, then once I got really into them a while later (cause I was little when Dookie came out), I got into all the old punk bands like the Sex Pistols and The Clash etc. Now punk rock is all I basically listen to, although there is of course other stuff I like. I thank Green Day for that.

Yup.

My mom showed me some Green Day (and some other bands) songs, and I got into it and went on from there.

Definitely.

Before listening to Green Day, I was into boy bands and all that dumb shit. I didn't know what "real" music was at the time. Then, my friend introduced me to Green Day, and my musical taste changed for the better.

I have pretty diverse tastes, so I wouldn't say they changed them, however; they expanded them.

I now listen to bands like Bad Religion, The Dead Kennedys, The Misfits, stuff like that.

So more punk than I had been exposed to, which is a good thing.
