wowsers_trousers
Green Day didnt exactly change my taste in music. i didnt really have much of a taste in music, i would just listen to a bit of everything and for a while i was in a music drought. i would probably have started listening to the music i listen to now, green day just gave me a kick-start

XletterbombX
Yes, before Green Day I listened to pop and horrible norwegian music. Green Day changed my music style. Now I just listening to punk rock, rock, punk and metal who I didn't do for some years ago.I remember the first time I saw Green Day on Mtv with American Idiot and I fall in love with that song at the first time (I think it's 2 years ago). And then my new and better music life started.

saurus
They changed more than my music taste - they changed me to in a weird kinda way - I didnt really like anything, and if I did I didnt have the "knowledge" to know who sung it and for a time I liked "Blue" "S Club 7" were my first fave group - how fucking scary. I couldnt join in with convo's about music cos i knew nothing about music, I was a nobody, honestly. Then I heard some GD stuff and yea it got me "into" good music, and then now I'm kinda known as the "Green Day Freak" at school, which yea, I like cos its better than being a nobody but you know, i dont care what peeps think any more - I really used to take peoples comments to heart but now I just go yea, so what, I like me and i dont care if you do...ok im babbling now...Green Day changed my taste in music...there...that was all I had to say heheKeep Rocking\m/Nicx

Gwen
I don't know if they changed my tastes in a big way : I always listen to the bands I listened to before knowing them. But they changed my taste because they introduced me to punk rock. I will always be thankful to Green day because they let me know those underground bands that I didn't listen to before. jimmy blue
i guess... they were one of the first punk rock band i listened to and kinda got me into that kind of music. i listened to a lot of pop stuff earlier, and when i started listening to green day i got into lyrics, riffs, solos and stuff like that. before i got into green day i only knew the plastic pop stuff and they kinda showed me that there's another side, and i kinda switched over. Jimmy's_Rebel
Yeah - my music taste was atrocious i had like all crap R&B and Pop. I was basically a sheep to the singles chart.... :bored: i remember it being so boring but i was pretending to like it, and i knew that i was pretending to like it but i still listened to it....Green Day changed my life, i always say so. They helped me find rock n roll. They helped me find a talent i didn't know i had, playing music. They helped me to accept who i was once and for all and not care about what others thought about me. And they helped me to define my beliefs and stand up for myself. They changed my music tastes for good. And for that i'm eternally grateful. And even now if people sneer at the music i listen to and say it's crap compared to what they listen to, i tell them that i don't care - it's a damn sight better than what i used to listen to.
