I dont see that many differences between those forums and any others I have been on. every forum has teenies on them, every forum has newbies who post where they shouldnt or start convos that are already going on or have been done to death. the only problem with that place is the damned chatroom... but thats from a mods point of view.

Yeah, i just don't like it because it all seems like a mess. I'm sure for people who frequent it, they get used to it. But after I joined I go very rarely. At the most, once every two weeks or so. Just because there's so much going on all the time. I dont like the layout of the forum software they use, and these huge sigs just annoy me to hell.At least here when we started having problems like that we were able to bring on more people and set and enforce rules so we could keep things under control. I think in the long haul thats what makes this forum better than any other Green Day forum. We are a community...an organized one.
netty Posted July 8, 2006 Posted July 8, 2006 the moblog hasnt been updated but then the band arent on tour so... and we havent had the q & a in video format the last couple of times or so... you can pick any one of numerous reasons for that. as far as I know the main site is being revamped at the mo and thats taking all the technical guys times up. we do have something coming soon so I`ve been told but dont have a clue what yet.Andres, we are trying to organise the forums better. we`ve changed a few things recently and we have attempted to do something about sigs.... but how many times have you done that on here? the problems on there are the exact same ones on every forum. and I think we do have a community on there now. but if you arent on there that often, you wont feel that as you wont be part of it.

I dont think i would pay to join the idiot club if the forum is sucky, theres no good reason too.

netty Posted July 8, 2006 Posted July 8, 2006 some people think it is... some dont. and as for the green day quiz..... it was done recently. unfortunately we have the world famous green day fact bank in Marc and he kept pointing out all the facts our expert had wrong.its $20 for the year. not per month.
