celeryeater Posted February 14, 2006 Posted February 14, 2006 to be honest i dont support vegatarianism. I think its unhealthy and most ppl who do it are just putting on an act. You don't support it? Its not a fucking religious or political movement. Its a way of life. Some people live in detached houses, some live in apartments. thats like saying, "Oh, I don't support people who live in apartments. I think it is unhealthy and annoys the hell outta me." Do you actually know anything about it?
european_fan Posted February 14, 2006 Posted February 14, 2006 agree with cerelyeater! and what sainttw just said .... thats a obvious example of another stupid prejudice!!! and what .... how do you know that, who lied to you ... but anyway ... you are just 15, you are just about getting some basic knowledge about those things ...

celeryeater Posted February 15, 2006 Posted February 15, 2006 ^Actually, I must confess...many a time I've crept down stairs at midnight to gnaw on a chickens leg...oh the shame...

Guest n1i0m3r9od Posted February 15, 2006 Posted February 15, 2006 I'd never make a good veggie. Meat offers you so muhc vitamins and nutrients in a tasty char-grilled form. Mmmm ^ forgive me, I just woke up and haven't finished my coffee yet. EDIT: I may be groggy, but I'll still kick your ass, Tyler Bring it on, BITCH !!!! celeryeater Posted February 15, 2006 Posted February 15, 2006 ^Psht! Never mind the fact it comes from a dead, burnt, rotting animal!
Guest n1i0m3r9od Posted February 15, 2006 Posted February 15, 2006 ^Psht! Never mind the fact it comes from a dead, burnt, rotting animal! Fuck that dead, burnt, rotting animal. It hasn't done anything for me, except cure my hunger pains. I'm top of the food chain, I have the right to slaughter and fry it. What do you call a vegetarian with diarrhea? A Salad Shooter.
sick Posted February 15, 2006 Posted February 15, 2006 I ask this just because i'm interested: 1. Why do some people eat fish, if they don't eat meat? 2. Why do some people drink milk, but don't eat meat, and are these people vegetarian, or what are they? 3. If people don't eat meat because of the ethical reasons, how can they drink milk, eat eggs? I guess it's because milking the cow doesn't kill the cow. But fish is meat too, and it kills the fish? So i don't get it how people can be vegetarians but eat fish, if they do it because of the ethical reasons. I wish someone who is a fish eating vegetarian, would explain it to me. I'm not vegetarian, sometimes I eat meat if i feel like it. If i was vegetarian, i know i just couldn't spend the rest of my life without eating meat, i'm not strong enough.

I still eat seafood because I've been a very picky eater all my life. It was really tough for me to give up chicken and eat more veggies, so I'm really trying to take things one step at a time. I do plan to give up seafood this year, though. It makes me really guilty to eat it. 2. That type of vegetarian is called a lacto-ovo vegetarian. I can't speak for everyone, but I'm appalled at the way dairy cows and laying hens are treated on factory farms, so we only buy organic, family farmed milk and cage free, organic eggs. It might be something I give up eventually, but I have no plans to in the near future. 3. I agree. Fish are still animals, and killing them for food seems really wrong to me. Refer to answer #1.
celeryeater Posted February 15, 2006 Posted February 15, 2006 The problem is, humans aren't really at the top of the food chain anymore. We've created a whole seperate system that to be honest, is pretty messed up. I would probably eat meat if it was just a case of us being at the top of a normal, balanced food chain, like wolves or lions. But we just breed aminals seperatley, messing up the environment, and causing others to go hungry while we're at it.
BillieJoeCandy Posted February 15, 2006 Posted February 15, 2006 ^ yay at me? haha. I hateeee meat and it's horrible how animals are killed.
