justbishop
I'd try Good Riddance. That's one of the first things I learned, and the chords in it are fairly easy, useful in other songs, and are tough enough to be a bit of a challenge. Plus you can practice picking. It's will come in time Power chords as in *cough* 3 - *cough* 4 *cough* *cough* chords? *cough* And so what.....I don't know why your complaining about the amount of Power Chords in their music. I mean so what , the music is good and Green Day is not the only band who does that.
DarknessFury
I'm not complaining! I'm just asking if they're 3 - 4 chords, that's all.
Guest Immortality
Holiday is really easy, minus the solo. The chords are all power cords. The progression is easy to memorize. American Idiot is a simple chord thing too, it's just the pace that would be hard.
DarknessFury
Yea, pacing's what stopping me from playing better music...although my finger postions aren't the best yet.
Guest Immortality
Well, my teacher taught me the momentum effect, how to practice fast songs extremely slowly and just keep upping the speed each time. Repeat the line you wanna master over and over til the omentum just whips you through it. Holiday is easier than AI because you can slide to all the chords. Green Day Doll
I just got my guitar today..it's a really pretty acoustic. Yippy Skippy! My brother's teaching me some stuff, and the rest I'm learning online, lol. But anyways, back on topic...I've already figured out the intro for WMUWSE, and I can play All By Myself for the most part.I've also heard that one of the more simpler songs is Are We The Waiting, because it's only 2 chords or so,lol, so that's what I'm gonna try next. Hope this helps you at all....cuz this post isn't really making sense on my part, lol.
