What do you think is better - when Billie does "Always look on the brightside of life" or "Stand by me"?

I love BIAB as a whole, but there is something about King For A Day/Shout that make me really happy. I guess it is the energy that is in it, but a song that makes me that happy is odd. I'm not really a "happy" person, but that song can cheer me up in seconds. It is awesome.

King for a Day is one of my favorite performances of BIAB. I wish he would've done "Stand By Me" though...I love that song and the way they perform it.

It's awesome how he throws the crown into the crowd and the one dude catches it and pops it on his head, it made me laugh.

That guy's so lucky. If I caught Billie's crown I would like fucking wear it to school the next day and be like GUESS WHAT I HAVEEEEE? and probably annoy the hell out of everyone. haha

Yeah, it's a great part of the show. Did someone know why there's not all the song of the show on the dvd, because its pretty boring. We can't see the Jaded and Knowledge part. :/

How funny. Listening to it now.

Definitly one of my favorites. The crowd seems so hyped up during the whole song.

ok had to turn it on after reading all this. I also love this song. One thing that is cool about it is it is a timeless song. An oldie like me can love it as well as 20 somethings and my three kids as well. My 7 yr old always wants to watch that song in the car. A quick funny story, the other night my 10 yr old went upstairs to take his shower and my 7 yr old green day obsessed daughter was laying on the floor listening to shout with a makeshift king hat, a towel on for her king cape, and a microphone singing a little bit softer now a little bit softer now..........he said he just stood there and watched as she didnt know he was there. He said it was hilarious. He bought her a king crown for christmas and is looking for the king cape for her.

Thats so cute!

I'll admit that when nobodys home I often sing this song as loud as possible. Also when I'm in the car! Once I almost got into an accident cuz I wasn't really paying attention to the road...

And once me and my friend pulled up to a drive through and started singing the song into the speaker...

The guy didn't speak much english so he got rather confused.

The other day my mom said to me "I have 'King for a Day' in my head." I just started laughing and said "I feel so proud..." I've gotten my mom into GD...

ONE of my favourite bits is when Billie Joe gets the crowd to immate what he's doing. Then he makes those gorgeous sighs and stuff. & then slowly creeps his hand down in to his trousers. Thats just one of my faves. Trust me to think of that!!!

PS> Janine. Thank you soo much for my 2 autographed pictures ofgreen dat.
