Can someone explain to me the deal with Fred Armisen please? I haven’t seen him often (he’s pretty unknown here I think) but he always comes over as a smug ass.

Basket Case, Longview, Welcome to Paradise, Holiday, BOBD, Good Riddance

They'll find a way to integrate those songs with the movie because...I mean...those are the obvious picks.

I want to believe they'll throw in a new song, but it will probably be Here Comes the Shock quality....

Fred Armisen is probably most well known and popular from many years on SNL. He's very funny on SNL...Californians for one, his impressions of Obama, Laurence Welk, are a few I can think of off the top of my head. He definitely is quirky. His connection to GD goes back to Wisconsin 1991 where they played alongside each other.  Fred was the drummer for Trenchmouth.  I guess that's how they originally met.

I'm going to this. Sorry if its been asked before. The dress code is just wearing a Green Day shirt and merch right? Would a Green Day shirt/ black jeans be in dress code? Or are you supposed to dress up on top of that? The email kinda confused me tbh

I was going to wear some spiked jewerly too but the email said not allowed.

i just want to know before i pack my bags what to bring as i leave on Monday. I'm wondering what you guys think? I plan to arrive early as i wanna be in front but seeing as this is not your regular Green Day show, do the production people choose who goes where based on looks?

i'm wondering if a Green Day shirt, Green Day hat, black eyeliner(i have to work on getting it on better lol) black nailpolish, black jeans, studed belt, black shoes would be in dress code?

I think you would be in dress code, yes. But unless it's a super indie movie (which I think it's not) the movie should have a costume department capable of dressing up all the extras.

^ Now I’m sad they’re not doing a horror film. 😭

Something about this project confuses me, like who will watch it outside Green Day fans. I guess it’s just a comedy with Green Day elements but I just don’t…get it. It’s a fun idea and all, I guess I’m just curious to see how it will be marketed and how wide of a release it will get.

It’s a little indie film and when the filmmaker is a fan and friend of the band I’m guessing he doesn’t care

They’ve talked of a horror film for years and years now.

Wish the movie was a biopic or a movie starring them instead of it based on stories of their early years.

I’m gonna watch the whole movie just waiting for them to appear in the last ten minutes. I could rewatch Ordinary World to infinity because Billie’s in every scene. This sounds like something I’ll see once.

The Foo Fighters have the "band inexplicably makes schlocky-but-half-fun-horror" corner of the film market covered when they released that Studio 666 a few years ago.

Same dudes involved with Ordinary World on this project right? That was terrible so I don't have high hopes.

Get back in the studio lads and leave the movies alone, eh?

Unless this is an official documentary about the early tours and first trips to Europe which definitely would be worth a watch.
