Not sure if these are relevant and of era mentioned.

Telephone message songs, poor quality including:-

What About Today 2006

Things I Heard Today 2006

Second Time around 2007

Would be great to hear quality demos of those.

Also, Hybrid Moments 2002. Is only a video release?

Other songs on You Tube as MP3,

Waste Away (Demo)

The Pedestrian (Demo)

Broadway (Demo)

Interesting! What About Today, Things I Heard Today, Second Time Around, Waste Away. Haven’t heard of any of these. Anyone have links to YouTube recordings of these?

Edit: I think I found them. Not that great. Is Waste Away the first version of Oh Love? Oh Love ended up being a great song. Dreamcatcher would be cool if they released that from the songs we’ve been talking about and Oh Girl.

"I Don't Want To Know If You Are Lonley" technically wasn't a studio recording, it was basically performed live without a crowd, so I dunno, they could go either way with that one. It's always bothered me that the guitar is barely audible on that recording.

even if that cover wasnt a real studio recording, it still made a single (Warning CD1) and its the only pre 21CB B-side that hasn't had a wide release on streaming services, which would make it perfect to throw on this hypothetical second Rarities comp

As for the early songs such as their first demo tape, I don't believe they have the master recordings in their possession, judging by the demo of Sweet Children that they released on the Turn It Around Documentary soundtrack, it still sounds like an old, degraded cassette. Same for the Dookie demos, the ones on the Dookie box set were ripped from the tape and the session that featured "Walking The Dog" was even the same bootleg version in bad quality. Either the master tapes were wiped out or thrown away because they didn't care about demos or they're collecting dust in someone's attic or basement.

as much as it pains me to say it you're probably right on the masters being rotted, however theres a slight chance that Larry Livermore could have a back up somewhere that he could easily give to green day

Whatever that YT channel called "dzd ps" posted is not real. It's AI processed stuff, not any leaked material, unfortunately.

What "holy grail" material do we have left in store?

---

I'm guessing either of three given a B-side album: compilation of released b-sides, releasing songs they've already reworked, or they're completely starting from scratch from now on

Guys, I can say those demos were from around 2001-2002. On the other hand, Hybrid Moments cover was released in 2011 in a video. However, I think, in 2015 there was a promo disc which was made just with covers including the Misfits one.

What are the b-sides or unreleased music from Green Day from the 21CBD era?

(2)

They had 45+ tracks during these era and we only know less than half of these (which are the album tracks) excluding Wonderful, Murder City and other unknown post-2008 tracks.

This was on sale on eBay... for around 100 bucks just a couple of months ago. I had no money at the time to buy it.

That's a shame. Until about the trilogy era I used to check eBay every day but haven't ever since and likewise no money these days

Well, you should check eBay more often. Nowadays I found gems like: Singles Box (1998 Japanese version), Poprocks & Coke Japanese Single, some Warning (album) Promo just to mention some stuff, and sometimes you could be really lucky with the prices.

I just don't have the money these days. My collection kind of stops at 21CB except for some bits and pieces (and I'm buying the Saviors variants one at a time!). Would love that CD with "A quick one" on it though! I was lucky to see them play it at Leeds Festival in 2013

So true. You're just got to keep checking ebay regularly, especially for sale offers. Been some great discount offers on Discogs recently.

I wouldnt have bought that cd on discogs only one person has it and there's nowhere else online that shows it ever existed. Those songs were specifically for iTunes why would a promo cd be pressed

I thought it looked like someone just burned the CD themselves

A lot of old promos kind of look like that but I've definitely wondered if some were fake in the past
