The only thing I could see is a compilation release for next year’s holiday season but nothing they would have to promote sooner because they’re playing festivals all year. Feels more like an off year, but they did release God’s Favorite Band at the end of the RevRad tour so to have a B-sides collection to mark the end of the Saviors tour wouldn’t be that crazy an idea. They’ve done the Dookie/AI anniversary sets, they can’t do another Greatest Hits comp so it’s the only thing they can release next year (I don’t think we’ll get another Insomniac release)

Have a feeling we'll get two more box sets next year.

Warning 25th and maybe Insomniac 30th. Yes, there was 25th for latter with double vinyl Studio/live Prague with rainbow cover. But nothing else. Maybe some unreleased demos and outtakes similar to Nimrod box set? And the fact that, Woodstock '94, released in 2019, for 25th anniversary of it's release and Dookie, was issued again on Dookie 30th.

I’d sell my soul for a legit box set of unheard songs demos from that era….can you imagine how badass they’d be.

This is my favorite fake Green Day record.  I imagine it sounding like a version of 21st Century Breakdown but where the music is super dark and heavy and more furious, angry punk.    Almost an Insomniac/Breakdown hybrid with flourishes of American Idiot to make a brand new sound.   Also, some of that Working Class Hero/Simpsons Theme era that we didn't get to see bloom into it's full potential.

I haven't heard this anywhere else except for this trend either, but I think I believe it.

There's a point we're missing here, this name could only be known by someone who is a really big fan of the band, since it was a rumor from 200fucking8. I'm a huge fan, I know basically everything about Green Day, I spend almost all my money going to 6-7 shows every tour and buying box sets and albums, and even I didn't know this name and this rumor from 2008, my friends didn't either. So I don't want to believe that someone who knows and loves the band so deeply would spread fake news, I'd rather believe that he's someone who actually heard something at the Uktra Q concert and came to share it

Yes, and while it's true (as someone pointed out) this account only has two posts, it was registered already 2019 which rule out it was created only for the purpose of creating a troll post.

And next question (from a relatively new fan): would there be enough B-sides for another album?

i may be a bit late but probably (assuming that just like Shenanigans we get a couple of previously unreleased B-Sides+ songs like Back In The USA, C&V, When Its Time)

Wait so it's a B-Side from 21stCB?

Does anyone have an answer for this question?

I am a longtime Green Day fan with a terrible memory even though I was around the whole time. I have a question for fans who might know:

What are the b-sides or unreleased music from Green Day from the 21CBD era?

Do the Foxboro Hot Tubs have any b-sides or unreleased songs from this era or other eras?

Lights out, hearts collide, a quick one while he's away, that's alright momma, another state of mind, like a rolling stone, last of american girls radio mix. Also 21st cb, 21 gums, and american girls studio 880 session. You could count the original foxboro hot tubs ep with movie clips and also has highway 1 that's not on the album. This bsides album isn't happening. They just put out all the american idiot bsides so there'd really be nothing

Maybe it's Mandela Effect but in 2011 I remember hearing 21stCB with whole different lyrics....
Never found it since then.  I think it's all in my head.

Well, I remember from 21stCB era, Butch Vig said the band made a song called "Wonderful", I think. It sounded kinda "Beach Boys".

That was Pollyanna. I know there’s no proof and I know not everyone agrees but come on.

Quote

The day after the election, Mr. Armstrong wrote a new song called “Wonderful,” Mr. Vig said. “It was super poppy, sunny, Beach Boys but with fuzzy pop chords”

That describes the song we got. I dunno.

Guys, just because the name was a rumor at the time of 21stCB doesn't necessarily mean they are b-sides from that album. For example, "Hard at Work" is a title that Tom has wanted to use for a Blink album since 2003. It was almost the name of their last album, but in the end they decided on One More Time... Which was more in keeping with the moment. In the future they might finally use that title, but it doesn't mean they'll release songs from 2003. The same goes for Green Day.
