That was a weird ending with that guy playing Good Riddance. I think Billie regretted picking him they kind of blew him off at the end. Glad they played Bobby Sox it sounded so good. Just two Saviors songs tonight and no Belushi

Interesting, apart from missing some key *points* The Guardian review did note that it is a bit strange to have GD headline coachella, given that it's often about elaborate choreography and costumes, something which Green Day are not exactly known for. Post Beychella is all about spectacle, and it might have been a bit of an odd choice? 

Did they do it, like they do so many things, just to prove that they can?

Yes because it's something they haven't done that they can check off their list and I think it matters to them that they do it their way and not change their performance to match what others do, but to present themselves authentically as a way of saying, this is us, this is our show and this is what we do and we do it very very well.

Yeah, I've got no problem with it (obviously). They fuckin rocked as they always do, and I love to see them conquer everything they want. I just want everyone to love them as much as I do, so the idea of a *potentially* lukewarm crowd makes me squirm a bit.
