In the queues this year I did hear stories about issues with VIPs having early entry and taking all the good spots in previous US concerts. Does anyone have any idea regarding this? At Wembley the VIPs were let in before GA and it was planned that way. However the VIPs who'd paid for the backstage tour were let in before the other VIPs and there were 60. Back in 2017 in the US the VIPs were let in an hour earlier. I think there were only certain shows with VIP on Hella Mega but I can't be sure as I wasn't there. I just heard others saying Hella Mega VIPs didn't include early entry. Sorry I hadn't realised the question was about the US at first. Why are they so expensive with like $200 of fees on top of the price?

It was the same vague wording on Ticketmaster UK, 'VIP Entrance to the venue' but in fact they all got early entry. So I imagine it would be the same in US. In 2022 it was the same wording "VIP entrance to the venue" for the European shows and it didn't include early entry. All you got was a seperate entrance. For the shows in Berlin and Copenhagen it explicitely said "early entry" in the description and those were the only European shows you got early entry with the VIP ticket. Of course I don't know what it's like for the US this year, but if I was there, considering buying one of those (even more) expensive VIP tickets I would definitely contact the promoter about that
Montclare
In 2021 at Wrigley for Hella Mega, I was in the GA line that had been waiting all day. When they brought us over to enter the stadium, there was a group of other people they were letting in. We had no idea who they were or why they were being let in, so we all held up our hands to show our wristbands, and walked through them into the park. Didn't occur me til a couple years later that that was probably the VIP line, and we just went right through them. No employees said anything about it. The VIP information emails still said it though. I don't think the American sites have ever mentioned early entry so I'm not sure they will get it. 4 hours ago, CristhyneS said: In the queues this year I did hear stories about issues with VIPs having early entry and taking all the good spots in previous US concerts. Hmmm, this makes me wonder if the early entry in the VIP packages is an European-only thing, to kind of offset the "cheap" (in comparison to the US) ticket prices here, by incentivizing people to buy a more expensive ticket. Minority103
All the VIP package in EU had "Early Entry" written in the description, I have a screen of my VIP Package but it was written even on the Ticketmaster web page:
P-Mac
I’m surprised that I didn’t have to pay extra for a Gold Circle ticket to see the band at Bellahouston, considering I paid £140 for Guns N’ Roses last year. Strolled up to the front around 7pm and was given one of the four last wristbands for Pit B (Mike’s side). billy1986
I’m going to the Hershey show Saturday and have the calling all saviors ticket bundle..it says VIP access to merch before the general admission tickets and early entry…anyone been to a US concert on this tour yet to see if they do in fact honor these V.I.P benefits?! Still wondering if this means I’m in the pitt???! Any help would be appreciated!!
Insomniac90
What about the Smashing Pumpkins VIPs? I know a lot here aren‘t happy with them as a support act. But they had a VIP category for an acoustic Set before the actual show. So maybe this is for some of you to get the early entry 🤷♂️ In Europe we had early entry in 2022 and 2024. The Merch Package isn‘t really worth it tbh.
Popular Post solongfromthestars
So they'll be selling the same VIP packages even for smaller venues in Europe in 2025, which is pretty disappointing. I find it hard to believe they absolutely need to charge that much to make money when they can afford to get themselves and their crew all the way to Asia and Australia without selling VIP tickets. It's also really disappointing that they're still using 237 Global. I guess some people want the backstage tour, but no-one wants any of the crap that comes with the Calling All Saviors package other than the early entry, so at least use a company that can actually deliver the one thing fans are spending their hard-earned money on. Or, you know, maybe just don't sell these overpriced tickets if you vocally claim to be "punks" with lyrics like "don't want no money, don't want no fame," and let disabled fans in early so everyone gets the same opportunity regardless of what they pay or how lucky they are when it comes to their health... 5

This 100% My only hope is there will be far fewer VIPs like 20-30 per show. But probably I'm just in my delulu era.

They are not doing VIP tickets in Australia and Asia? 😲 And yeah, I'm disappointed by this too. I'm not entirely against VIP tickets, but really (1) sell only a few, (2) tell how many you are putting up for sale, and (3) make them available only through a pre-sale link. That way you limit it to fans who really cannot queue for whatever reason or are really into the stage tour, and the rest of us can know if it's worth queueing or not because we know how many of these tickets are out there. As for whether they comply with the early entrance or not, I feel some things might be venue / country specific? Like in the EU shows people with VIP tickets consistently got early entrance, while in the UK there was not the same consistency. If the VIP ticket says early entrance then it should really guarantee you early entrance, regardless of the country or venue. And vice versa, if it does not say early entrance, then they should guarantee that both groups gets access at the same time. Similar for fans with disabilities, I saw a couple of fans with disabilities go in first (before the general public but after VIP) in Paris, but I can imagine not all venues / security will be as competent, and it really shouldn't be a gamble for a disabled fan to find out on the day of the show if they are let in first or not.

solongfromthestars
Actually, the American VIPs were supposed to get a pop-up record store, but I'm assuming that never happened because no-one mentioned it? Or did it and we just didn't hear about it? 21 hours ago, CristhyneS said: They are not doing VIP tickets in Australia and Asia? 😲 And yeah, I'm disappointed by this too. Yeah, no VIP at all in Asia or Australia. Dynamic pricing is being used in Australia so people are still getting ripped off, but the most expensive tickets in Japan are the gold circle ones which are ¥33,000 (about €200). There are regular fixed price GA tickets for the other Asian shows. I've said this before, but I really wouldn't have an issue with it if they sold less than 50 VIP tickets. Even 100 wouldn't be that bad. At the very least, tell people how many there'll be. Sadly I'm sure there'll be at least 300 and they won't give us any information. It's just an excuse to force anyone who wants to be on the front row to pay more. It might be harder to arrange things in the UK because we're not in the EU anymore, but I still think 237 Global were the problem. Their VIP host was the one who was supposed to ensure everything went smoothly and she didn't even show up at Wembley, which was 100% on 237 Global, not the country or venue. Maybe because it was the end of the tour they got lazy? I don't know. They also ignored the complaint that multiple people signed. 21 hours ago, JellyTime said: And 4 - provide good quality merch or make this package cheaper without any merch at all That too. At least give the VIPs something better than unusable guitar picks and a toy skateboard.

Yeah, the number of VIPs is my main complaint about those tickets. I'd be fine with the price if VIP was really VIP. The problem is, next year's venues are no big stadiums. So if they sell the same amount of VIP tickets as they did this year it will be even worse for the people without VIP
