This ticket drop shouldn't be the only one since concerts rarely drop 100% of the tickets at once. I refreshed the ticket page for 3 hours for the Vegas Fremont Street concert in October for extra tickets to become available.

I was #2150 and as soon as it took me to the page to purchase, a sold out message appeared. My wife was #8000 so we figured that we weren't going to get tickets, but tried anyway. I hope this isn't their only small venue show in the Bay Area.

I tried too. Didn't get one. Not that I expected to be able to, but worth a try. It's near impossible to get tickets to these shows. I don't know how anyone is able to

The last paragraph probably means 1234Go will be giving away a pair of tickets to the show so might be worth keeping an eye on their socials (they often give away a pair of tickets to local shows)

I preferred when you just had to turn up on the day and queue for a ticket! I guess they'll never do that now that everything is online and venues are less likely to tolerate it but it was really the best way to ensure no scalpers and people who really want to go getting in. They did all the old Foxboro shows that way.

Yes but that’s ok if it’s near you, it feels risky to travel hundreds of miles in the hope of getting.  Wish there was a simple solution.

Yeah plus I guess it wouldn't work so well with Green Day since the amount of people could get crazy. Shame there's not at least a fanclub type thing like @nflsbest26 suggested though. Come to think of it when GD played at Shepherds Bush in 2012 and Brixton Academy in 2013 (a bit bigger at 2000/5000 capacity but still small) they did tickets via the still existing Idiot Club and I got some no problem along with a ton of GDCers. Hopefully some managed to get them!

I remember NIN did a special in person pre sale event to prevent scalpers. You showed up at the venue to buy tickets. I think I waited for 4 hours. They released remaining tickets online the following week.

Prevents scalpers but also prevents travelers (assuming there are little to no remaining tickets). If you don’t like how California gets all the shows, how about if only Californians get to go?
