there is a lot of never before seen stuff and stuff that only exists in the hands of traders out there. Everything will worth the wait.

The better part is that everything is being remastered to full hd

Hope they do 60 fps but most people never do; beggars can't be choosers though :P It's awesome to see this stuff finally hit the light of day!

Sorry to bump an old thread but is there any news on this? For me this is just as big as the album re releases we've been getting the past few years. Would love some new stuff from this era!

Full show:

From the description:

Here is the first of many rare and previously uncirculated Green Day tapes from Arica Pelino's archive. Huge thanks to Arica for bringing them over and handing them off to me last month. I am going to let Arica introduce this one: "this show has only been released on audio format prior to this. This video is being released in its entirety for the first time and includes RARE after-show footage with: Lint/Tim Armstrong Marshall Stax (on stage) Damon O'Manic Joel Wing Kaz Hope Anna Armstrong Filmed by: Arica Pelino Opening Bands: Blatz, Jack Acid, Alter Ego, Grimple" Transfer by: Shayne Stacy Equipment used: Panasonic AG-1980 — Datavideo TBC1000 – Tevion USB Adapter — Virtualdub Enhanced in Adobe Premiere Elements/Neat Video (lighting/denoise)

Firstly, thanks to @Kerplunk!!! For bumping this thread up. I'd totally missed this before. But mainly thank you @pacejunkie punk for posting this. Just watched full show. Holy shit. This has blown me away, I'm gob-smacked. GD were awesome. And with the after show footage with guys in crowd, felt the atmosphere almost like being there with them.

Thanks again. You're a star.

i wonder if the Slappy and 1000 Hours EP's listed on the thumbnail are the same as the lookout releases or if its the demos of those songs
also i wanna quote something a reply that Arica made cuz it might be important to these forms as a whole
"This demo would have been considered "new" if it hadn’t been taken from my personal collection during the making of the East Bay Punk documentary and released by a dishonest Green Day collector."

I wonder how that happened. I think I know the collector she’s referring to but I find it hard to believe they did this dishonestly, maybe just unknowingly idk.

I cleared the situation up over in the download section. Here’s the post for anyone still curious

nothing much to say about the green day part
i can see why they held off on releasing (at the very least the Slappy and 1000 Hours parts) until now
hell even the 2 songs on there that could be different (Dry Ice and Words) are the same as versions that are floating out there (Dry Ice being its studio version and Words being its home demo)

Why would there be a different version of Dry Ice but not the rest of the ep tracks?

Dry Ice was notorious for being hard to record (especially for Sobranate) so theres likely (if they havent rotted away yet) alternative takes floating around out there
