No Brains
I am ridiculously excited for this. I've booked tickets for 3 different venues. So anyway, what are your thoughts on what we should expect? I watched Bullet in a Bible last night, I was there too, absolutely fucking mental but the best night of my life. Obviously BJ is 20 years older and not off his face now but do you reckon it'll be as mad? BJ running around, expressive like a nutter? Or more stood with the guitars? Not complaining EVER, but just interested in your opinion. 💚
Hermione
They've been playing shows throughout the last 20 years haha, you can see for yourself if you watch some more recent videos. They still have a ton of energy on stage and involve the crowd just as much etc. I saw them a year and a half ago and they were fantastic, they will be on this tour too! They're going to be playing Dookie and American Idiot in full for the 20/30 year anniversaries this year so that will be really special.
No Brains
I know, they're just incredible, as you know! I've been tied up with kids past few years so haven't been able to keep up. Saviours has come around and I'm just floored!
stories and songs
The first time I saw Green Day was 2005 and the most recent time was 2017. Equally energetic 12 years apart! And recent performance videos tell me they’re just as entertaining now as they’ve always been.
The Grohl
Despite my very loud complaints about their stale setlist, a Green day show is always a good time. Yeah, I may complain about it after, but in the moment it's just glorious. Even during the NHL pre game show where they only did 3 songs, that was awesome and definitely worth freezing my butt off! What I love about them is they perform with the same energy, passion, and fervor whether it's a small dive bar or a huge baseball stadium. I don't have any tickets for their upcoming shows (right now) but I'm looking forward to seeing tour footage because I know it's going to be fun. 3
