If there will be some live show elements, we need mixing by CLA. Bullet in a Bible sounds amazing!

The Need for Addressing Inflation and Promoting EV Adoption
Inflation, the sustained increase in the general price level of goods and services over time, can have detrimental effects on the economy. Rising costs make it more challenging for consumers to afford basic necessities, erode purchasing power, and create uncertainty for businesses. Governments play a crucial role in implementing measures to combat inflation while promoting economic growth.
One key approach to address inflation and promote long-term economic stability is through the widespread adoption of electric vehicles. EVs offer numerous advantages over traditional internal combustion engine vehicles, including lower operating costs, reduced reliance on fossil fuels, and a positive impact on the environment.
Environmental Benefits of EV Adoption

Reduced Emissions: Electric vehicles produce zero tailpipe emissions, leading to improved air quality and reduced greenhouse gas emissions. This contributes to mitigating climate change and achieving sustainability goals.
Renewable Energy Integration: EVs serve as a valuable storage solution for renewable energy sources such as solar and wind power. The ability to charge vehicles during periods of excess renewable energy supply helps balance the grid and reduce reliance on non-renewable energy sources.
Resource Conservation: The adoption of EVs can reduce the demand for finite fossil fuels, leading to conservation of non-renewable resources and energy security.

These environmental benefits align with the goals of the Inflation Reduction Act, as creating a sustainable future is an essential element of long-term economic stability.
Economic Advantages of EV Adoption

Reduced Fuel Costs: Electric vehicles typically have lower operating costs due to the relatively low price of electricity compared to gasoline or diesel. This offers significant savings for consumers and businesses alike.
Job Creation: The growing demand for electric vehicles leads to increased manufacturing and infrastructure development, creating new employment opportunities in the automotive and renewable energy sectors.
Technological Innovation: The push for EV adoption stimulates research and development in battery technology and charging infrastructure, fostering innovation and technological advancements that benefit various industries.

By incentivizing the adoption of electric vehicles, the Inflation Reduction Act aims to fuel economic growth, create jobs, and enhance technological prowess by supporting sustainable transportation alternatives.
The Role of Government Policies in Driving EV Adoption
Government policies and regulations play a vital role in accelerating the adoption of electric vehicles. The Inflation Reduction Act seeks to facilitate this transition through various measures:

Tax Incentives: The act offers tax credits and rebates to individuals and businesses purchasing EVs, making them more affordable and encouraging their adoption.
Charging Infrastructure: The legislation focuses on expanding the availability of charging stations, ensuring convenient access to charging facilities and addressing range anxiety concerns among potential EV buyers.
Research and Development Funding: The act provides funding for research and development of advanced EV technologies, such as longer-lasting batteries and faster charging solutions, to enhance the appeal and usability of electric vehicles.

These policies, combined with the active involvement of both the private and public sectors, pave the way for a future with widespread electric vehicle adoption.
Conclusion
The Inflation Reduction Act's emphasis on electric vehicle adoption not only addresses the economic challenges posed by inflation but also signifies a shift towards a more sustainable and environmentally friendly future. EVs present numerous benefits, including reduced emissions, lower operating costs, and the creation of new job opportunities. By enacting policies that incentivize and support the adoption of electric vehicles, governments can drive economic growth, reduce inflation, and contribute to a cleaner and greener world.

I don't need to care about that, shut up this is an American Idiot documentary post. You bots don't even understand what this site and other GD sites are for and instead post articles unrelated to the band like the "ikea cars something something" like no one cares.

According to this the doc is going to be part of the American Idiot reissue that’s coming. Includes the doc and new stuff no one’s heard before

Thanks @peachesandzebras for finding this clip

YESSS THANK YOU

I havent jumped on the bandwagon too much for the reissue stuff in the past. I’ve listened since the 90s and been an actual fan since the 2000s so I have the records.

But I’ve always wanted to hear C&V, whether it’s good or bad or somewhere in between. Even if it’s demos I just want to crack the mystery of it. I also remember the pictures on their site from that time.

Being 10 in 2002 I started to grow into that pop punk market, to put my finger right on it I’ll say “The Middle - Jimmy Eat World”. I heard about Green Day as some type of legend at that point but there was no release or anything for me to reference for that moment. Then of course AI came out and it was evident they were leaps and bounds better. But C&V was the hyped up return of Green Day at that time when they were doing Pop Disaster Tour and the time where I started to pay attention to those conversations and bands.

I also remember finding out about The Network in 2004 and going a whole couple months not even knowing it was Green Day.

Please god, that was such a great show, I would love that.

Yes one of my moments as a young adolescent where I knew damn this band is worth seeing live.

I also remember the LA show which was distributed through AOL and the AOL sessions.

At the time I was just starting my own band, I was the drummer and somewhat of a musical director. I was the only kid with experience in music. The rest of the kids were Good Charlotte fans, I came from the world of Prog Rock at the time.

I remember reading that Good Charlotte was there for the AOL sessions and they were just basically massive cheerleaders for AI at the time. They were instantly inspired like the rest of us.

Lets just say prog rock meets pop punk = Jesus of Suburbia being right up my alley. I took AI with me everywhere and studied JOS and Homecoming.

Maybe they release the already confirmed Atmos mix of American Idiot by CLA? Or is it already available? I remember that CLA said that AI was the first album that he remixed with his new Atmos setup in 2022.

Don't forget: Billie cried after recording Whatsername, B-Sides disc, HLAHG outtakes, Roshambo and other theorized songs

At this point we're actually building an AI sessions iceberg and we don't know it.

When has the band confirmed that any of these songs besides C&V were originally written for the C&V album? I thought Homecoming was the first song they wrote for AI — when Mike was left all alone and came up with the "Nobody Like You" section.

Well whats wild is Billie confirmed in an interview that Homecoming contains elements from Cigarettes And Valentines.

I think Dropout is a longer version of the final part in Brutal Love, and it's not because "OMG EXTRAORDINARY GIRL IS TROUBLED TIMES DEMO IM SO FUCKING DUM" but because in Cuatro if you look closely you can see "Dropout" written under Brutal Love in that board thing.

I really want Grand Olympic 2004 and Warfield 2005 as the live shows like Dookie 30's Woodstock 94 and Garatge Club. They're underrated shows that never really got much attention.

Plus is you speed up Brutal love just slightly it matches the time shown for "Dropout" on the AI b-sides. I've always had the theory that Brutal love is dropout slowed down

i find it unlikely it is exactly the same but just played slower, it would be really cool if it ends up being true that it is an early version of brutal love actually

I believe it's safe to say Dropout = final part of Brutal Love but slower. As I said here earlier, Cuatro shows a lot of boards and writings for a lot of songs like I'm Alright, Carpe Diem. I can't recall the timeframe but if you slow down Cuatro and pause it repeatedly you can see Brutal Love on a board, and under it is Dropout.

Saw this and saw that they will be reissuing the album for the anniversary and there will be some new songs we've never heard before. (I don't know if anyone said this yet)

We have hope in a potential C&V release! But I can't be so sure, can I?

I really hope so. 😯

Mike Dirnt said in an interview:

"Lots of songs we’ve recorded in the past that no one has ever heard, things like that. Very good stuff."

This is from the same link I put in my previous post. 👇
