So now what…

I feel like it’s been so long that the hype for this album has been building. Constantly refreshing social media and GDC in hopes of any hint/update regarding the new album. Piecing together all the clues from over the past year has now culminated to the album release yesterday which has been phenomenal!

Besides playing this album on repeat and falling in love with the songs, what should we expect next for the upcoming months?

Tv performances, club tour? Feeling kinda bummed that the tour doesn’t start til end of May so just wondering what there’s to look forward to these next 4 months with Green Day?

Now let's wait for Fever and Damn Juvenile Delinquent.

But honestly I'm okay with a little break. Let's enjoy this album :)

After listening to saviors many times

Those side A (Track 1-5) are just e.p. tracks now to me.

I'm still thinking what would the songs be like if they're true to release an e.p. before 1972 or saviors

Once promotion dies down it'll be prepping and getting hyped for the tour.

7. Party's Over

8.  Lava Heart

9. He Loves Her City

10.  Shake Away This Disease

11. Muscle Memory

12.  Down South Cake

13. Father of All Sauces, Boytoys and geognomes (Burnin Down My Human Face)

I guess we should wait until the Saviors era is done, but it basically is.  Just touring now, right?   Once they get that out of the way, and go silent for at least a month or two....that will be when we can start the insanity back up again.    Begging for leaks, arguing and name calling, all of that.   Lol

Blue or yellow album cover, lot of black too.   Going to sound like Nimrod, Warning and Saviors had a baby with Shenanigans and it was all recorded like Saviors.

Wait for Panicland! Anyway, my prediction:
Red album cover with a photo of the band from 2023/2024
Name: "CONUNDRUMS" (Font same as GREEN DAY in the wake me up foxboro digital single)
Tracks: 11
Potential tracks:
Damn Juvenile Delinquents (opener)
Death Wish Kids (2nd)
2 Saviors leftovers (5th, 11th)
Will sound like Saviors, Insomniac and 21st Century Breakdown had a 3some and Platypus decided to violate all three of them leading up to the trilogy having a 3some and revrad violating saviors, 21st century breakdown, uno and tre (I'm sorry I had to)
Producer: Butch Walker or Rob Cavallo

Here come the lyrics
"We are currently targeting an address at... Gilman St.
Hold on one minute."

"Fucked your mom 3am, please flee on your knees"

"Military t-shirt, IPad kid"

"McDonald's has cancelled all orders"

"My name is Michael and I'm a fucking nerd"

"Instrumental track with the Buddy Holly lick being repeated 1972 times with meme sounds and segments of the Breaking Bad theme being played over"

Soon after Foo Fighters released their "Wasting Light" album they put this out. Its them playing the album front to back in their studio. I wish Green Day did that with Saviours.

Man I love that album and that performance is so good. I've watched this so many times.

I understand all the different reasons but honestly, I think a pay to view (or even free) livestream concert could be a real winner.  I know ticket sales may be affected but managers etc must realise there is a huge market out there which the don’t/can’t reach on tour.

A Green Day Pay to View would be awesome.   They could perform different albums on different nights.   Of course Dookie and American Idiot would get 50 Billion people tuning in, but I bet all the other albums would rake in the cash as well.

And then get AI to create the entire thing.   We don't need a real Green Day, our speculations can now come true!

With the album being this strong, I'd like the singles to keep coming.   If they can't do more music videos, maybe live footage - I really don't like the animated ones / lyric videos.

But yeah, once a band hits the road that's about it.   It makes big money for them, but unless you're a big baller and going to every show, it's basically like the era is over.     Just gotta stream the heck out of the album and know that Billie knows that you know that he knows that you know that he knows.....that you listened to Strange Days are Here to Stay 400 times in a row just for him, and that brunch he had on Tuesday? My streams paid for 3 percent of it.   lol.

We’re deffo die a live album… however… I have a feeling they might wait till September 20th anniversary release of American idiot with the live album from this tour it’s not very often it’s played in full? Who knows I reckon 2028/9 for the next studio album though…
