Popular Post MillenniumFan
I remember the reviewer from the Brazilian fanbase a few months back describing this as "not noteworthy" or "nothing special". I suppose I can kinda see what they meant now, although admittedly my view was a bit skewed due to this description. There is indeed nothing that really jumps out at you in this song, be that either positive or negative. However, I still think it's a solid track, especially the intro and second half. Plus, it works very well as a transition from Father To a Son to Fancy Sauce. Would it have been cool to have had a slightly stronger title track? I suppose so, but the fact that the attention is drawn to other songs just gives the whole album more 90s Green Day vibes, which I also like. It's not trying to be a fancy or epic rock opera, a magnum opus if you will. Rather it's just Green Day being Green Day for 46 minutes and you know what, that's honestly perfect.
pacejunkie punk
The Champagne Supernova vibe is strong in this one, especially that bridge
okotavio
Vocal filters on the verse is too much imho, wish Billie’s voice was clearer I never thought that a Green Day song would ever remind me of Bad Religion (intro) and Oasis (melodies) at the same time so I like it! Overall it’s a good, average song. Not weak nor a banger
Popular Post DookieLukie
I actually like the weird vocal filter. When he doesn’t do it for every song, it feels unique.

And for this song it makes sense because it’s like using a megaphone to call out for saviors
The Grohl
Definitely a solid song, but don't think it's the strongest. Still, I like it. A classic rallying cry type of song for Green Day.
Popular Post jengd
I can’t believe anyone thought they had nothing to say about this song! Yes, I hear pretty heavy Brit pop influences, dare I say the cream of Brit pop, but my god, again the lyrics, “everyone’s asleep but nobody’s dreaming”, calling all saviours morphing into calling all strangers. And again Billie sounds great, the drums are fab and Mike’s bass is just brilliant. Mike and Tre man, what a combo.
JardyOfSuburbia
Love the Brit-vibes on this one. I knew I recognized the vocal delivery during the bridge! It sounds very much like Going Nowhere by Oasis (specifically at this point)
Little Boy Named Booze
Remember when we thought this song was going to be a multi part song 9 minutes long? 😅
Platypus2000
This one is creeping up in the favourites for me, love the verses tbh, even with the filter. Considering it’s the only song with it on I don’t mind it. Tell me why I despise Oasis but like this song? 🤣 Can deffo hear the vibes with it.

The Grohl
I woke up with this song stuck in my head. "Calling all saviorssssssssssssssss tonight."
PursuitOfEpicness
This song stands out because of the vocal filters lol, chorus kinda falls a bit flat and gets old after awhile
Killjoy From Detroit
I wonder how the reception would have been if this was the lead single. I think if it weren't for TADIKM this song would have been number 1 on the tracklist, not sure what the lead single would have been.
Saviour
It's probably the weakest song on the album IMO which is wild considering it's the title track. Toss up between this and OEB.
Thatsername
I love the line "We are the last of the rockers making a commotion". It's not meant that way in the song, but when you think about it, Green Day really is one of those last big rock bands, rock is a dying art form nowadays. And they are definitely still making a commotion!
Gonzalo17
I think that IS the more underrated song of the album... Top 20 Green day songs for me

Saviour
It's such a strange track. I keep listening to it in the hope that it'll grow on me but it really just isn't. Inherently there's nothing wrong with it, yet I can't pinpoint what it is about it that isn't grabbing me. It just falls flat.

suffoKate
The verse melody is very similar to Dan Vapid and The Cheats “Face the Music” verse melody, which in turn is similar to another song I can’t quite put my finger on…
