Popular Post aahhhh
This is cool to see, especially a year later. I always thought this song would be a hit. The amount of work that goes into getting anything to succeed at radio is crazy. I worked down the hall from the head of radio promotion at a rock label. He was on the phone all day with radio programmers trying to convince them to playing our artists singles. It's all about momentum. If you can manage a few weeks of radio growth, things start getting easier. The stations that didn't want the song suddenly change their minds. Sometimes it was simple and other times he was more or less begging stations to play songs. He also had his own gold record for Dookie, which was incredible
Flashback
Would it be eligible for the Grammys 2026 when they "release" it now as a radio single?

DookieLukie
If Dilemma didn’t win the Grammy, I doubt Bobby Sox or OEB would. Not because they are bad, just that the Grammys like certain types of songs, mainly serious ones.

The alternative station is here I am still hasn’t played the song yet, and usually they are pretty on it when it comes to new singles. Dilemma is still in rotation for them.
