TheMostExpressivePrice
The Music Video in question might be for "Corvette Summer" and possibly the plot is: Tré Cool stars in it as a not so well man dressed in rabbit costume with a sniper, who invades candy shops, eats every cake and while leaving the store removes a small part of his costume and gives it to the first children he meets. When transporting with his Corvette, he sends messages to Warner, warning them to stop calling him. During the solo, he is on a rollercoaster and makes multiple expressions, but when the train is stopped he is instantly arrested by police officers. As the video fades, the officers carry him to their vehicle and as numerous journalists gather keeping videos of the event, Tré points at them and pulls his tongue out; everything but the tongue fades completely, leaving the organ alone on a black screen for a while.  i am obviously joking, only serious candidates for a new music video are "1981", "Strange Days Are Here To Stay" and "Father To A Son".
The 99th revolution
Very likely 1981. At least Ryan Baxley said he wanted an MV for it or something.

Are you That Dude? This is a masterpiece and I kind of want to be involved in this music video. As a consultant and playing one of the journalist - a one eyed journalist!  We probably need a backup if Arnold Swartzawhateva isn't free to play the police officers.  Idea 2 -  David Bowie is alive and fighting T 1000s in the 20s.  An army of violent hippies join him and Green Day in a battle on top of Charlies Chocolate Factory for the fate of the universe.   When Tre Cool marries Z from the Network, it unlocks a portal to Africa and everyone just lives there for a bit.  The t-1000s are defeated easily by Billie Joe and Morgan Freeman and Weezer shows up. Billie kissies Mike Dirnt and the video transisitons to the Wake Me Up When September Ends video for some reason.
The 99th revolution
I have an idea: Out of a portal Krist Novoselic appears, hides in a tree, returns as a giant (There's giants in the trees...) and comes across Billie Joe Armstrong in an LSD-esque background and then Billie shoots a building and out of the building a monkey comes out, Billie and Krist fight it and it spits out a copy of The Colour and the Shape by the Foos, inside Mike is trapped and the booklet transforms into Dave Grohl who joins Billie and Mike in fighting off an army of demons (like Studio 666) but one demon possesses Dave who transforms into a Foo Fighters self-titled copy and tries to kill Billie but Billie does something like Pokemon and Tre randomly pops up with Pat Smear and they smack Dave with a wrench and he dies. Then in the end Billie kisses Tre and the MV transitions into a spinning skull with the noise from this video:
That Dude
Billie on a spinning wheel with someone throwing darts at him.  Every woman he's ever dated is throwing darts at him and some are hitting him.  The characters from American Idiot come through a wormhole and try to find the women, and an all out war ensures.  Finally, one of the exes realize that the Whatshername is actually an alternate version of her and the Whatshernames kiss, causing all violence to end.  Billie is rescued by a concerned Tre Cool and....you see? THIS is why we need an Album 15 thread.  So we can post stuff like this in TWO places.  Haha. Saviors is still getting heavy rotation in my listening, although I am listening to a lot of other stuff along with it.  Today, I tried to find some 90s albums that I hadn't heard before.  Gave Oasis a try, because they have a Green Day connection.  Marcy Playground - they are actually pretty good.  Wheatus....eh.   But Saviors remains in my listening rotation.   And what about the other Green Day albums?  Yeah, I visit most of them regularly.  Dos, Breakdown and the first four records are the least visited for me.   FOAM RULES. 1
TheMostExpressivePrice
@The 99th revolution @That Dude @Too Much Too Soon It seems that you have been influenced by the "Bobby Sox" video, since i am the only one not to include kissing between band members, or song characters. i honestly like your ideas more than mine, of course, however as i have said a million times, i have not listened to anyone else rather than Green Day for the past 3 (now 4) months, so their references have no difference to me. "Suzie Chapstick" could be simply a video where all three band members and Jason White scroll their phones for about 2 minutes, then for the rest of the video the plot is: first they turn them off (just like lights in "Tré!") and in the next scene they are walking through a jungle, armed with knives and kill wild animals that attack them. Throughout the video they have the exact same impression: an impression between that indifferent, neutral look Billie Joe has during most of the infamous "Kill The DJ" video and the melancholic one he and Mike Dirnt have on "Macy's Day Parade" music video. At the end of the video they have crossed the jungle, reaching higher ground, and are about to take the pavement to take the liars down in an industrial city, the same scenery the next two videos take place in. Guess star for the following "Strange Days Are Here To Stay" music video is the young boy with the stone who wears a "Saviours"-themed shirt.

I was going to make a Stan by Eminem reference, but have you heard of this man?

The alternative idea you presented could be a nice idea for "1981", their wives throwing punches on the beat or even banging their heads such they did the aforementioned year. 2. Sadly i am only on YT because for Spotify i have to create an account, something i do not want to attempt. 3. i have heard a few The Network songs, only because of the rumours they were Green Day in cover. i did not spot any similarity other than there are four basic members and the lead guitarist is also in most songs the lead singer. 4. A long time ago i listened to him as well, it is my GD dedication that convinced me not to listen to other bands or musicians anymore. 5. Forgot to add that the last non GD song i listened was "Digital Black" from Network's latest album, back in 24th of October 2023 according to my browsing history. All listens since then are only for God's Favourite Band.

Just recently listened to Rev Rad the other day hahah. I have 21st CB (the song) as my ringtone right now. It has been a while since I changed my ringtone. May switch it up to something from Saviors. What I meant by 21st CB - Rev Rad is the albums from 21 CB through Rev Rad (including the trilogy). I love the lyrics in 21 CB, they have so much feelings built up. I love the whole thing (including Saviors, Rev Rad and the Trilogy)
billy1986
Goodnight Adeline Coma City Father To a Son or Suzie Chapsticks should be the choices for next single or video. So far only TADIKM and Dilemma have really charged so Father To a Son or Goodnight Adeline probably has the most crossover appeal maybe Suzie Chapisticks even. Still wish they were promoting Dilemma more it’s too good of a song not to. It’d be a shame if it stalls on the charts.
TheMostExpressivePrice
They might go absolutely wild and release the remaining tracks from Side A as singles, making a total difference between it and Side B. "1981" might be a very exciting base to work on a video, with intense "Waiting" influence.

Everybody thought it was odd that the singles were all the first songs on the record, but that's how it's supposed to be. It's not that A is great and B sucks. It's the natural progression and linear flow of things. If your album is well crafted, the first 3 or 4 songs usually have single-vibes. Saviors is quality and most tracks are single quality. I wouldn't do Coma City, Corvette Summer or Saviors...but they rest are up to task. I think Goodnight Adeline would do well.  I'm still listening, but Saviors is slipping out of heavy rotation as I once again go into discovery mode.
