Maybe it could be part of Fever, like the bridge or something I doubt it personally dude, the leak for Fever was a totally different style to the dog snippet. It was a good bit slower and you could tell it was written for FOAM too

Insomniac90
Yeah I woke up at 4am to listen to the whole thing before work (first time since prelistening Party), I also walked through my hometown to listen to it. I‘m happy with the record. Its not my favorite record but I really love it. I can‘t even pick my favorite and still trying to like „suzie“ more, but I‘m working on it 😂 I love this record and they can be really proud of it. It has so much from their previous records and also trying new things at the same time. I think I will spend my weekend at home and listen to it as much as I can

petros
Solid record overall I really enjoyed it. Can't wait to listen to it with some good open back headphones on lossless later to appreciate it more. Will see how it stands the test of time but at least I feel like this one sounds like they put effort to it unlike the trilogy and father of all. Revolution radio also was a record I feel like they tried but because they decided to produce it themselves it sounded pretty bad at certain parts. This one sounds good and feels personal and relatable. The only songs I didn't particularly care about were 1981 and Saviors.
Popular Post blackplanet
First off, let me say this: I think the new album is pretty damn good. I think I'm gonna have to side with the critics (and fans) saying it's their best work since "21st Century Breakdown". These songs sound a hell of a lot more complete than the ones on the trilogy, the production is better than on RevRad, and... well, it isn't whatever the fuck "FOAM" is and that's always a plus, lol. Just an overall solid piece of work. 8/10, no major complaints. Also, people keep comparing songs on here to other songs (by Green Day or other bands). So uh... along those lines, do you know what "Suzie Chapstick" kind of reminded me of? 1
Popular Post stories and songs
Something that really strikes me about this album is how brilliantly it captures this apocalyptic reality we’re living in where everything is in shambles and nothing is being done to improve it. It’s like a kaleidoscope of how that materializes — on a political and societal level, on a personal level of either trying to forget and listen to music or just take the darker route of numbing yourself, and on the ironic, satirical level of “is this seriously what the world has come to?” Billie’s talk of how society is so messed up because we’re all on different algorithms is such a great description of this album. “Are we in hell or is this just a fantasy? I can’t see this ending well now that it’s too late” in Strange Days sums the whole thing up brilliantly. 3

Popular Post stories and songs
I don’t really like to say stuff like “best album since [insert title here]” because I feel like in doing so, it puts down albums I love. I am a HUGE 21CB and RevRad fan, they’re top favorites for me. I also think select songs from the trilogy are some of the best they’ve ever put out (Brutal Love and Lazy Bones have my heart). But! This is the first album of theirs post-American Idiot to make me feel so…nostalgic? for when I first fell in love with them, because this is the first album since AI (not just of theirs but in general) to evoke those same emotions. The lyricism is on the same level as American Idiot for me. Baby me had a bunch of feelings about what was going on in 2004 and Green Day swooped in and put them into this magnificent, affirming package. It felt important and I felt seen. Current me has a lot of feelings about the world today and they’ve somehow done it again. This album so deeply speaks to me emotionally and politically. There’s a fire to it, and there’s also disbelief and despair and searching for love and connection in the middle of it. 9
Popular Post jengd
I think that’s totally their secret. No idea how they do it with so few words but the connection is immediate and long lasting. ❤️

Honestly I think all their albums are good, even foam, with the joan jett sampling and unfamiliar falsettos, sugar youth is no doubt the best from foam but let's get back on topic, coma city is epic 3
Popular Post GuitarPunk94
just finished my first listen ... words cant describe how much joy, happiness and all other emotions the album is giving me! so i try to keep it simple: this sounds like green day 😄 the difference (in quality) between Saviors and FOAM is insane of course this is not the fast paced dirty punk from the 90s or the magnum opus of punkrock (=AI) from the 2000s, but this sounds like a what could be a next step in GD's music history, its a mix of the rock-solid revrad and the trilogy, but saviors feels better in quality (sound, music, vocals etc) and more unconstrained very hard to describe, but this feels again like the music is created with real honest passion, the world turned to shit, personal life is challenging, you get older, you loose people etc, but green day have always been there to support us and fill our hearts with love and joy, whether its at their shows or with their music, i couldnt be happier and i am thankful for what they did for us, the music world, and for society for more than three decades and they still walk next to us and guide us through life the album is indeed one of their best since AI/21stCB (but personally the trilogy will always have a special place in my heart because of personal reasons back in 2012/13) after my first listen i would rate it a solid 8/10, could possibly turn into a 9/10 after a few more listens 15 songs, they all feel kinda different but there is no song i would skip, and it ends too fast because of how good the songs are songs that need to grow on me: none (maybe the title track) highlights: tadikm / look ma no brains / bobby sox / dilemma / 1981 / coma city / suzie chapstick / strange days are here to stay / father to a son / fancy sauce 💚 2

Insomniac186
It's a fantastic album from start to finish. I had pre-ordered it at Streetlight Records in San Jose, CA during the listening party there, and we were told that's the only way you could get the special LP sleeves. I get there this morning only to find out that they'd never actually received the sleeves despite ordering them, and they would call me when they came in. They also didn't receive many lyric books for the listening party, either but luckily I got one. It absolutely fascinates me how the two major record stores in Silicon Valley (Streetlight and Rasputin) repeatedly get shafted for special events including Record Store Day, I usually have to drive up to Berkeley for that kind of stuff nowadays. 1
