Pretty sure GH's position isn't cause people are going out and buying the GH album but because people are streaming all the singles that appear on that album. No, ARIA charts here in Australia are calculated based on album sales, so GH has been charting every week since the promotion here in Australia it is not calculated by streaming at all So if GD being the Dookie/AI tour here it'll be very popular. Also was kidding about Taylor Swift I have a lot of respect for her, infact my daughter is going to her show next week

James!
Is anyone surprised that there isn’t a vinyl variant for RSD with the amount they’ve made? I was so expecting one when the list cane out…

I'm really sick of waking up early for RSD

Actually, what they should do for RSD is this, how about a Demolicious 2: 1972 Featuring this unreleased track And early versions of songs like Look Ma, No Brains And Fancy Sauce
The 99th revolution
Tre mentioned an AI reissue recently, so this could mean we're getting some AI demos, but I'm unsure. But I'd also like to hear Fritz.
Reverend Strychnine Twitch
I have a question. It's been only 4 weeks since the last music video and new album release. Do we have any official news or statement that there will be no more music videos/single releases for the album or are we just assuming it?
jengd
Assuming it.
That Dude
I don't particularly like them, but I feel like we'll get a music video of tour footage shortly after the shows start. And then that'll be it.
The 99th revolution
We could have videos on each leg of the tour like the RevRad South America leg video

And since it's their own stuff, it's still not selling out, lol. I'm thinking they could recreated the slime from the American Idiot flag thing, but with coffee. and invite all us fans to lap it up off the floor with the band. I could type a bunch more random stuff here, but I'm going to submit the better parts straight to Warner.....even though I'm still waiting on my pre-release of Saviors. I know it's coming.

Popular Post Hermione
I started an extra cleaning job where I can listen to music on headphones by myself for 2.5 hours a day. I've listened to this album countless times already, still sounds amazing every time! Also just been listening to every Green Day album many times, they really are the best band . This album made me fall head over heels in love with them again lol. Gonna be so awesome to see them live again in the summer. 6
Popular Post stories and songs
I just heard Dilemma on Octane (which plays hard rock) and got SO EXCITED. Awesome to finally hear it on the radio. And I’m glad Octane picked it up, because it’s definitely on the heavy side. The last time I heard Green Day on this station was when Bang Bang came out!

One week wasn't enough. Yeah. Their promotion felt really geared toward people who were already fans and hyped for Saviors. Which we all very much appreciated and clearly enjoyed a lot! It was for us, and I felt it. We got so many great interviews and stuff like the listening parties were so cool. But instead of spending energy on things like the EA Sports party, which was announced as some sort of promo gig but ended up being private/not Saviors-heavy, I would’ve preferred a late night appearance or two. The Jimmy Fallon thing was cute, but didn’t really showcase the new album. Similarly, Billie’s podcast appearances were great, but barely touched on the new album at all, which seems to sorta defeat the purpose. It felt like they were everywhere the first couple weeks in January, which was so special for us as fans, but it didn’t feel like targeted stuff that would make a splash outside of the fandom, other than Dick Clark. SNL and a late night talk show would’ve been ideal, particularly a week or two AFTER the album came out to keep pushing it. There are also a lot of fun YouTube series run by different magazines and stuff that could’ve been cool promotion for the younger crowd (I personally love watching those autocomplete interviews, lie detector tests, etc. — quick fun entertainment). Or imagine them covering a current popular artist on something like BBC One Live Lounge? That would make waves! Promoting it before it’s out only goes so far. I don’t think they should run themselves ragged or anything, but 2-3 more strategically placed performances post-release would’ve helped a lot, I think.
