And how cute he kept calling them “you boys.” Letterbomb sounded fantastic. We are being spoiled 😍 Is me or Letterbomb seems slower compare to other live performances and even the studio recording

Popular Post Karol Oliveira
I haven't finished to listen yet but I want to say that long and in-depth interviews like these are also interesting because we get to hear serious Tré. We're so used to his one-line jokes on the majority of interviews that when we get to hear him talking seriously we strange a little bit. Kudos to Howard for his knowledge on the band and shift his focus on Mike and Tré as well

Popular Post jengd
Just listened to the whole thing from downloads (thanks @Yosuke Hanamura don't know how I'd manage without you) and it was great. So many good topics covered. I loved hearing Howard discuss with Billie who good his guitar playing it, it really pisses off when people say he's not that good, YOU DO WHAT HE DOES YOU FUCK is what I want to say to them. I think one of the strengths of this band is that they play the song, it's not an ego fest each time. So many good stories, Billie and Mike harmonising like that, great interview. 4
Popular Post The Grohl
I can't say I like Howard Stern - I don't like his shock jock antics - but he is a great interviewer and I can appreciate that. The difference between him and Maron is night and day. He not only did his research, he clearly loves the band, so it's cool to hear him get excited just at seeing them set up their gear. He's one of us! Maron felt like an interview Green Day's manager set up whereas Howard feels like a show they wanted to do. Overall great interview! Loved hearing from all the boys and not just Billie. Some good conversation about how they got into music, how Dookie changed their world forever, and Billie's songwriting. I also liked hearing Billie saying he wouldn't change a thing about AI I feel like that's rare for an artist. Again, love love love hearing anything about FOAM. I like that Billie acknowledges it's divisive for fans and it's a "weird" album that people didn't fully understand. I just appreciate that he doesn't seem to have regrets about it. He's kind of owning up to it saying yeah we did this weird album, it wasn't received well, but eh whatchu gonna do? I really want to hear him talk more about those songs now, not in the weird state he was in during FOAM promotion. The little Kevin shout out? yay Kevin! And Tre saying everyone has to look lovingly in Billie's eyes for an hour a day? Sign me up please Also Green Day takes a nap...all three in the same bed Big thanks to @Yosuke Hanamura!! You're truly our media SAVIOR 3
stories and songs
@The GrohlI also really loved what he said about FOAM. I'm not a fan of that album at all, but I also don't like it when artists shit on past work just because it wasn't well-received — I think artists should stand by their work. I like that Billie has just admitted yeah, it was weird and divisive, but it was what they wanted to do at the time. I would also like more reflection on those songs from 2024 Billie. 2019/2020 Billie talking about them had me like "Uh...okay, I'm gonna go."

Warszawa
Is it only me or Billie sounds weird?
jengd
I think the sound was a little off. @The Grohl I agree about Howard Stern, he suddenly says something weird and unnecessary but he does his research. I like FOAM and so far (only heard Saviors in full at listening party) I hear the connection to Saviors. I’m happy they aren’t decrying it. I still think more fans will come round to it.
Warszawa
I just watched Howard Stern show from 2016. Billie and Jason were so young and Billie sounded so flawless. I guess father time catches up to everybody. Here Billie looks so healthy and bright I love it, and you can tell he started working out however I hope he improves his vocals before the tour starts. Bj would really have to track back heavily because they really didn’t respond to the situation when it happened. For better or worse, he raised Joey and it’s heavily suggested he knew his son was dating a 16 year old.
