We had a few from the netherlands in Lingen but I think the store only had 4-5 Lyric Books Just the lyric book they had in some stores. I really hope someone has a extra to trade.

Popular Post Beathe.
In Oslo we got posters, but no lyric book. They had a quiz were the prizes were t-shirts. It was fun to listen to the album before it's relased. Wonder if they keep doing things like this. The album was as I expected after the songs they already have given out. I like it, but it's not one of my favorite albums. I have to listen to it some more times by myself and not a room with several other people. Will be exciting to hear more of the songs live and see how they play out in stadiums. It's was really sweet of them to show up for one of the listening parties in California. Love Billie Joe's outfit.
Popular Post BrendanL
Ducked out of work yesterday to attend my local listening party. Got both posters, lyric book, and a pin - they only had two shirts to raffle off and I just missed out, having my number called third. the record store only had one speaker, and they didn’t play the album all that loud, nor did they play the introduction from Billie Joe. Still, on first listen, I quite like the album! The three song run of 1981-Goodnight Adeline-Coma City is really strong. I dig Corvette Summer also. More mid-tempo songs than I expected. It might be cliche but this is a good evolution of their sound, taken in its totality. It all feels fresh. I recorded a voice memo on my phone of the whole thing and I’ve been listening to it back today. What a great time to be a fan!

Sadly Australia only had shirts and posters I see now that my store only had the pins with the logo, and not the picture of the band (and I lost two of them in my car somewhere 😢), so I'd keep asking around for complete stuff. But if not, I'm sure we can work it out!

Cooper Castille
Top 5 songs on "Saviors" atm are: 1. Father to a Son 2. Dilemma 3. Strange Days Are Here To Stay 4. Goodnight Adeline 5. One Eyed Bastard I've had "Strange Days" on repeat since listening to it, can't wait to hear the full album in HQ, it's so good!!
TedRogers
I went to the local listening party in Brisbane, at Rocking Horse Records… and walked out after a couple of songs! The message from Billie was awesome, a really nice touch, American Dream was great with no hitches. Then we hear the faintest swirl-in of Look Ma... and it’s gone. Then one tiny chord of Bobby Sox and it's skipped before you know it! WTF?! Then One Eyed plays 2/3 of the way through, and they skip back to the start. By this point everyone in the store is singing along, it's a great atmosphere - and when the song cuts out, everyone is so bummed. A few seconds in to the second play through of One Eyed, it skips to Dilemma. WT actual F... It's at this point I make the decision to not let them ruin my first listen of a new Green Day album, and head out the door. I've only heard 1.5 seconds of a new song, the rest being the already released singles, and I don't want to hear (or miss!) new songs like this. You only get one first listen to a new Green Day album, and call me old fashioned but I'd prefer that to be all of the songs in the correct order without skipping, missing parts, and generally being messed up! And just for good measure - for a record store - their music system cranked sounded awful as well. I managed to get a t-shirt and poster which I was very happy with, although to sum up this store they only gave them out to people who pre-ordered something at the time. And they didn’t have any of the indie exclusives, only the standard, 180g or CD. I could see that plenty of people in there missed out because of this. No lyric books unfortunately. This used to be an awesome store back in the day, but an absolute shambles now. All they had to do was play an album from start to finish and they couldn’t even manage that. Hopefully everyone else had a good time - I'm not sure if anyone else is as grumpy or picky as me, and hopefully the store sorted out the rest of the play through without anymore hitches. But I left with a smile on my face, looking forward to hearing it properly in a weeks time! My mate in Sydney reckons it's killer - the listening party at Utopia Records sounded great - and they were actually just giving away the stuff to everyone, as I'm sure was the bloody intention! Pumped for my first listen on Friday!! And at least this didn't happen in Burbank, and I left early... 🤣

They were give the album and all they had to do was play it from start to finish. Somebody there doesn't like Green Day so they felt they were sticking it to the fans by pulling that shit. What's stupid is your fragile ego is so bothered that you would rather crap on your consumers because you don't like a certain band or music. Frankly I would never shop there moving forward because at that point that's all you can really do. Straight middle finger to that store and i'm sorry that your experience was F#cked up!! disappearing_boy_39
Can anyone post scans of the lyric book? I'd gladly buy one but it doesn't look like that's gonna be an official piece of merch (which is a drag). A perfect place to post the scans would be the Magazine Scans section of GDA — if it ever returns.

Rumpelstiltskin2000
I've noticed people are actually buying the overpriced stuff on ebay! It's such a shame so much has ended up there A lyric book has just sold for $68! 17 hours ago, disappearing_boy_39 said: Can anyone post scans of the lyric book?
