So here is what I remember:

Green Day started at 8:30 and finished at around 10:50

Rooftop was closed, not sure if it’s common for concerts at this venue or not

The plane during Dookie made people pretty excited

Billie’s voice sounded great throughout the night. I don’t know how the band can keep this level of energy playing that many songs, it’s super impressive.

At first I kept trying for regular-priced pit tickets and didn’t find any. Ended up getting pretty great floor seats in the section right next to the pit. I was worried about the sound in a stadium, but from where I was, the sound was great. But I did read about people sitting elsewhere where the sound was not so good.

Pit had some room left at the back.

Slightly less intersection from Billie compared to what I am used to but it allowed to make room for more songs. Just slightly less, because I think that he also timed the interactions better within songs. So either way, like now or like before is great.

I thought 60 Canadian $ for T-shirts is too expensive but after seeing the show and loving it so much I was like ok I’ll pay the 60 $. So after that the show I went and the 2-3 styles i liked only had sizes that were two sizes too big for me, so I only got the tote bag and the show’s patch.

Hearing Dookie and especially American Idiot in full and in order was such a dream come true for me as a fan. Honestly, I feel like a 2h 20 mins greatest hits along with a few Saviors songs would also have worked for casual fans and the fact that they chose to do not 1 but 2 albums in full along with 5 songs from Saviors is such a gift to their hardcore fans. So a big thank you to Billie, Mike and Tré ❤️.

The set is fantastic, the inflatable stuffs are super cute. It does really seem like a big celebration of Dookie, American Idiot and Saviors.

The only song I wasn’t too excited to hear was Know Your Enemy, but the fan interaction on it is, each time, really heartwarming to see so I guess that’s fine.

Highlights for me:

Not to exaggerate but it’s all of it, but if I had to choose the big standouts for me, it would be:

Dilemma, the Dookie plane, Wake me up when September ends, Homecoming, Bobby Sox, Billie burping early into Good Riddance and saying something like sorry it’s the poutine 😂

Overall, it could be my favorite Green Day show ever..,not exactly sure, but for sure it is my favorite setlist they have ever done. I miss it already and my wish list would be a second leg of the tour, this time, with different or more songs from Saviors being played (I really want to hear Fancy Sauce and Suzie Chapsticks live!).

That’s all!

For the rooftop a person who works there told me only select artists get the dome open. Ed sheeran and coldplay were some of the ones he mentioned.

Did anyone get the link for the photos and exclusive merch that you were able to sign up for at the concert? I signed up, but haven’t got them yet, but others have been getting it. If anyone has it? Could you send it in here?

Edit: Just got them. Definitely buying the exclusive ticket. I don’t like the merch designs very much though.

Glad you enjoyed it. Ever since the Wembley show I've had this feeling too. Trouble is, mine definitely is not a reasonable distance-flying from the UK to the US or Canada!🤣😉 I'm just going to have to wait for the next tour. Sigh. 🥲😇

Did anyone catch the sign that said “play cigarettes and valentines”? They showed that person on the screen holding it up.

Did anyone do the Calling All Saviors VIP package for this show? I’m going to the NY show tomorrow and am trying to figure out what my timing should be… like how early should I plan to get in line?

YouTube suggested this video for me today. Came here to share it, but saw you had beaten me to it 😄

I'm glad we've had a few of the full album shows on video, even if they are not the most amazing quality.

Wait until San Diego's show.

Usually the whole concert will be uploaded by therealconcertking on YouTube

Wow! I haven't been on GDC in a bit but I flew out to Toronto for this show, everything lined up perfectly and my best friend and I had the trip of a lifetime. Holy fucking shit.

Being a lifelong GD fan, I've always known about them being an exceptional live band but getting to witness it live firsthand was such a treat. My friend, who really loves the band but is not as ~hardcore~ of a fan as I am, was genuinely shocked they managed to sound so good for two hours and 18 minutes.  I was seated on the floor on the left side in section A2, so our seats were pretty good. I still can't really process the fact that I saw Green Day with my own eyeballs. The setlist was perfect, I would've maybe swapped out KYE for any other song but my aforementioned friend is a huge fan of that song, so getting to see him experience that live was worth it for me!

I had the biggest smile on my face the entire time, and was singing my heart out. I won't ever forget that night, that's for sure. One of my friends said "Now you've got the bug. There's nothing like seeing your absolute favorite band live." I think she might be right.

I was absolutely beaming and singing my heart out on behalf of 16 year old me... and tbh, crying through most of American Idiot.

Awesome that you made it to Toronto for the show! I definitely remember your username from back in the day.

I'm really curious to know what your experience was with the VIP package at your show in the end?
