Did anyone get the pre-sales code yet? Was supposed to have been sent by now???

Have received mine. Someone in another thread has contacted them and been told they'll all be sent out by the morning (think there's been some problems getting them all out)

Well getting tickets for this was a shit show…. I was sent 2 pre-sale codes, one of which didn’t work. 4K people were in front of me in the Ticketmaster queue at 9.30 and due to the wrong code I wasted about 15 mins panicking and ended up missing out on the golden circle. This is the first time I’ll be seeing green day from the general standing area and honestly I’m feeling quite upset :(

At least you got a code Sophie; still waiting to get mine!!!!!

No way!! Have you checked your spam folder? It’s all so confusing… I got two separate emails, one last night and one this morning. Both landed in spam and had different codes 🙃

I’m going with friends to this one so went for seated tickets - panic bought the lower priced ones, they’re high up but near the stage side so hopefully a decent view!

I got front pitch standing for this one (after refreshing for about half an hour)!

I was there when they played Wembley back in 2010, it was definitely one of my top Green Day gigs so delighted to be getting to see them there again

Didn't have the funds to actually get the pre order in time. so i've missed out, unless theres some amazing person in the gdc who has a code? :)

Absolutely outraged, after half an hour of refreshing for front pitch standing all the prices just went up? It's £266 for one ticket now all of a sudden? I got myself a normal priced one in presale earlier but was trying to get one more for a friend... What kind of bullshit is that.

I know! I got the same for Manchester. For God's sake. 🙈

I got the VIP Guided Tour Experience with front pitch standing! Cost me an absolutely disgusting amount of money but felt like I just had to, going with Mum and sister but they'll be seated so if anyone else is down in the front pitch area give me a shout!

I wonder what the chance is, however small, of this show being a live album. It seems like the perfect opportunity and it's been so long since Awesome As Fuck.

It will be my sixth Green Day show and I'd love to have an MP3 download, track by track, of it. I've looked on GDC for all the previous ones I've attended in the hope that somebody made a good MP3 recording split by track, but none have. Those previous shows are Leeds, Manchester and Sheffiled 2017, and London and Huddersfield 2022.

London and Manchester are sold out.
They didn‘t sell out Wembley in 2010, did they?

Not in 2010 but Emirates in 2013 was slightly over capacity (about 500 over). Emirates was only 65000 but Wembley is 90000 (have they extended it? I'm sure it was 80000 in 2010).

Actually this article says Emirates was 60000 and that Green Day were the first to break the attendance record

Looking forward to this one - I've heard good things about the 2010 gig so hope this is the same. They seem to appreciate the London stadium shows a lot.

It was an amazing show, really good energy/vibes. I can't wait to see them there again. At the time you could pay to get an engraving on one of the bricks on "Wembley Way" leading to the stadium and after the show a bunch of people from GDC who went clubbed together to buy one. No idea where it is but somewhere there's a brick mentioning Green Day, the show date and GDC haha. This video makes me hyped to go back!

So.... what's the resale market like in the UK? I also assume that some seats may pop up the closer one gets to this date.
I found a decentish flight to go over there for a few days...  and my boss is encouraging me to go... so the temptation keeps increasing.
