I’m hoping to make this one! Reached my 4 ticket max for other shows but going to try the general sale. I have a Foo Fighters gig the day before in London so the timing is great!!

I got unreserved standing and seats. Does anybody with knowledge of the venue know how far away the unreserved standing is? And how far from the stage unreserved blocks A and B are for seats?

Got myself a standing ticket, front pitch was still not available in the general sale :(

Not sure how far away it’ll be but hopefully the front area isn’t that big!

Bought two standing but have swapped them out for golden circle vip, never done it before but what the hell.  Honestly standing at £76 is incredibly reasonable in this day and age but there seem to be so few available.

For anyone who got front pitch standing for this one, can I ask how much ye ended up paying?

I'm tempted to book for this gig, but £215? General admission might be the only option at that price :o but just wondering if that was the price during the presale too? Seems very hefty!

I paid about £106 each with fees I think? During presale

Thanks :) that was pretty much in line with what I paid for front pitch at other gigs so don't think I could stomach paying £215 for it now. I didn't think I could make this one but I may yet, and GA will have to do!

Delighted to have tickets for this concert, but can’t believe that The Killers will be playing at Manchester Arena in the same week as I like both bands!

If the GD and Killers concerts had have been on consecutive nights, we could’ve gone to both concerts. But because they’re not on consecutive nights, it would cost too much to either remain in Manchester between the two gigs or travel to and from Manchester twice in the same week.

Got my fingers crossed that the Killers announce more dates so that I can see both groups!

Update: The Killers have added an extra night on the Saturday, but it would cost at least £800 for the hotel, travel, food, and The Killers tickets, so that’s out of our price range. Will just have to keep my fingers crossed that the Killers add more dates somewhere else and that we can get something reasonably priced.

So I bought my tickets from Viagogo and just went on to see what was happening now we are closer and to my horror, see that they may only be released on the actual day of the show!  I will be away from home and travelling so this is making me pretty worried.  Anyone else using Viagogo?

Has anyone been to this stadium before? I've been reading reviews and apparently it's quite a bad experience, and not well organised, either way I'll be drunk so I probably won't care too much.

I was at the GD show there in 2010. We got the tram straight there (and back later) from the city centre, got in line around midday and got a spot on the barricade between Mike and the screen. I didn't especially like the venue (it's set up for cricket matches so it's shaped differently to a stadium) but from memory it wasn't disorganised getting in or anything. I did hear there were broken limbs nearer the catwalk though! Don't know if that helps at all

Well foo fighters played theere a few days ago and everyone basically said the set from foos was amazing, but the venue was horrendous and not very organised, and the line up to the toilets was ridiculous, hopefully it won't be this bad on Friday!

Does anyone know the schedule/set times?

Given the fact they’ve been playing about 2hr10-15, and curfew is 10:30 I’d imagine they’ll be on around 7:45-8
