Rumpelstiltskin2000
So no updates on this show even though they must be about to finish now. Just saw one person on X saying they could hear the show.
nflsbest26
Just saw a clip of the show on greendayinc, the crowd looked kinda lame tbh. Nobody was jumping or moving around.

Popular Post Cris.
On the way back to the hotel right now from the show. It was really wonderful! Similar setlist to Lyon, except no One Eyed Bastard in this one, and Bobby Sox before Good riddance rather than between the albums. The rest I think was unchanged. Other thing that was different, was no Dookie background during that part of the set I was a bit saddened by this because as I was going to be further back this time, I was hoping to fully appreciate the stage decoration. Billie stopped the show for a minute after she to make sure someone in the crowd got help. I feel something happened during When I Come Around too, but I forget what. The highlight of the show: they brought a girl on stage to play the guitar during Good Riddance, she did a good job but missed a few things... She was playing with the guitar behind her head the whole time - maybe something to do with being left handed and playing with a normal guitar? No idea, maybe guitar players in the group might say. Anyways, it was perfect really, even if she missed a couple notes, because you could see she was so in the moment, and Billie got to sit down on the floor and sing from there. And then the rest of the band came and they all hugged with her, Trè asked her name and then made the crowd chant her name, and then threw a bucket full of confeti on her head 😂 I think we all had the time of our life, but this girl even more so. I was so emotional for her, and I hope there will be pictures soon so you see what I mean. 29 minutes ago, nflsbest26 said: Just saw a clip of the show on greendayinc, the crowd looked kinda lame tbh. Nobody was jumping or moving around. It was really muddy! It was raining all day basically since yesterday. During the show we just had like 10 minutes of rain, but still, with all the mud it was a bit tough to jump around without splashing a tone or slipping. I do think at the front maybe it was a bit tough because a couple of times Billie asked people to make space and pull back a bit I think. I was at the back of the golden circle and while I was basically the only one around singing every song of Dookie, and not just the hits, I do think everyone knew American Idiot in full. 4

Popular Post DecanoLP
Complete show was absolute 10/10. They‘re such a tight band (that bass!) and I liked how they just went through the set without too many hey-hos or extended songs. Crowd was okay in my opinion. Not too bad (got better the more the show progressed) but Dookie seems to be more unknown than I thought if you exclude the hits of course. But this is something we‘ve now seen throughout the whole tour. You forget during the show how special this setlist is. I‘ve never imagined hearing Having A Blast, Chump, Pulling Teeth or She‘s A Rebel, Homecoming or Whatsername live. Also, 36 songs in total is special and something you don‘t see many bands do. 2
Beerjeezus
Probably the best Green Day show I've seen??? I'm still like hello??? Is this the old man department??? 1

Right?!! I feel that if in a "normal" tour we got any one of those songs (and so many others! Coming clean, FOD, All by myself, Novacaine, Extraordinary Girl, etc) we'd be over the moon. Here it's so many of them that as you say, we forget what a privilege it is to be getting each of them individually. And American Idiot in full and in order, it was my teenage dream. It's still hard for me to wrap my head around it and I get so emotional with it.
JellyTime
It was way better than Berlin show! They weren’t in a rush, Billie was making more interactions with the crowd and he pulled a girl on stage to play The Goid Riddance But again - too many VIPs!! It was at least 150 of them, but I think it could be more. The stage was way bigger this time, so few people from the regular queue made it to the barrier, but still - just few and more in front of the screens than in front of the stage. I thought I'd heard somewhere that there have been 300 VIP tickets sold for each show of the tour but I don't know if that was someone's guess or it's true. It was similar in Lyon, and I find it really unfair that fans that have the commitment to queue for more than 12 hours are being priced out of getting a good spot in the barricade. You wanna sell VIP tickets? Fine, sell them, but make it truly VIP and sell only a few so that people who queue also have a fair chance. Or just make a new more expensive section at the front of the stage, a VIP circle if you will, but at least like that you don't give people the hope of getting to the barricade by queueing from the morning, because that is truly disappointing when after all that, you still cannot get to the front row, or if you do you have to be super far from where the band actually is and stuck in front of a screen instead.
Billie Hoe
Also did anyone else catch the moment where someone in the front wanted to hand Billie a Ukrainian flag and he took it, looked at it and changed his mind/handed it back? 😅
Rumpelstiltskin2000
It does sound at the moment like the tickets are not really VIP or GC. I only ever once bought a VIP when a show fell on my birthday in 2017 (well it was actually a gift) but we were only 17 people (and two of those had seats) so other fans queuing all day could easily get barricade. I think on the RevRad tour there were 200 for sale for each show but most people didn't buy them (except Rose Bowl I think VIP had sold out)

That’s the true VIP. That’s fair to both sides. The VIP this tour is just a scam. Even if you have it you still need to queue, cause showing up just at the doors time won’t give you a good spot (a lot of VIPs didn’t get the barricade in Berlin). If it would be like €10 or €20 more than a regular pit ticket - fine. But the price difference is actually really big and VIPs are just fucking expensive. The barricade should be for the most dedicated fans, not just for the richest. 2

I've heard of old time fans in the US having to get tickets in the nosebleeds because they can no longer afford the other ticket prices. Very sad
Susi Sour cream
I had VIP for both German shows. There were about definitely way too many of those tickets. I totally agree with you. I don't mind queuing despite having them, because the main reason I buy these Early Entry tickets is that I tend to getting panic attacks when the queue around me gets too packed. So Early Entry just makes the concert a little more relaxed (if the organisation isn't shit like it was in Berlin) for me. But yeah, to make it a fair thing for everybody there should be way less of those tickets. By the way the show was just amazing! The guys were absolutely on fire and the crowd was definitely much more relaxed than in Berlin. And American Idiot in full is just an absolute dream come true 🥹 Edited June 12 by Susi Sour cream

JellyTime
When it comes to showing country flags he always wants only the one of the country when the gig is. Once I’ve tried to give him Polish flag at show in a different country and he was like „no, I need the correct one”. I believe he showed Ukrainian flag at one of the Hella Mega shows, but it was more of a statement, cause topic of the war was more recent. Of course the war is still going on and he changed the lyrics to JoS, but also maybe he just didn’t realize the flag was Ukrainian

That's what makes me think it was more of an issue of not wanting to wave another country's flag, than of not wanting to make a statement. But still it was awkward and definitely not a high point of the concert. 1 hour ago, Rumpelstiltskin2000 said: I think artists are just having to be more careful these days about making any kind of statement. Maybe anyway I'd get that with a Palestinian flag, as that is quite polemic at the moment, but with regards to Ukraine everyone in the western world are more or less in the same page. 54 minutes ago, JellyTime said: When it comes to showing country flags he always wants only the one of the country when the gig is. But I do think that's different because there they are playing at home and they take visitors' flags 😂 but yeah, I suspect this is probably what happened, that he didn't want to take a flag other than the country he was playing. -- I have also shared quite a few videos in my stories, here: https://www.instagram.com/stories/cristhynes_/3388889579677766845?igsh=cWVobnlkeGRnNHpm
