Because of that I’m expecting something different for the album or single covers…not close to the one “leaked”. edit: maybe the whole Dookie re-release? MillenniumFan Posted October 24, 2023 Share Posted October 24, 2023 So songs that are vey likely to be on the album we have: The american Dream is killing me 1981 Look Ma, No Brains If we add those together as played live this amounts to 3 songs at around 8 minutes play time. If we assume that 1981 was shortened, we could add and extra 1-2 minutes to that. So at this point we have 3 songs at 8-10 minutes of play time. IF we assume that OEB is indeed part of the record too, which I am not sold on, then we're at 4 songs and 11-13 minutes of play time. So, I think we have a decent possibility of getting an extra 8-10 or more songs and min. 30 min, perhaps as much as 45-50 min. more play time for this record. While I agree it could be better, I don't agree that it's lazy, well a little bit perhaps, but certainly not any lazier than the Warning album cover. It's true that it's a composite work, rather than an album cover design drawn up from scratch. But I think the meaning behind the choice of the photograph and the font style of the title in the lower corner is more profound than the first glance impression might tell and that, in my view, counts as part of the artistic process. 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
