I wonder if this one will come with a video as well...

Probably not. I mean I like the song but my impression after a few listens is that its a strong album track rather than the 2nd single choice of the new album. I'm sure it will grow more on me in time.

who wants to theorize on what the third single will be? (which will probably release on december) my bet's on 1981 since it's the only other song that they've played live

Is it just me or does Warner put way more effort in marketing for the album than they did for FOAM? Can't imagine that I read so many articles about FOAM like I did for Saviors so far 🤔

Casually just laid having ‘saviors’ added to my Green Day sleeve something that represents each album. Oh yeah and I’m moving house today 😂 all for the cause!

What do you think which day pre-sale for EU/UK tour will start? They will send the access codes on November 7th. It won't be immediately the next day, right?

Setlist.fm still doesn't have Saviors listed as an album.   (and it drives me nuts that they list Welcome to Paradise as a Kerplunk song, they're playing the Dookie version, right?)

Spotify still doesn't have lyrics up for American Dream.    Come on websites that begin with S.    Get you STUFF together!   Okay, I'm off to upload a video about Saviors.  I didn't include my one tidbit of INSIDER INFO because I still haven't asked for clearance in revealing yet.   Maybe I'll do that today and include it in the description later on or something.    And before you message me, it's really boring insider info.    Really.

Why do I feel like saviors will be a good song??

I think it's a multi-part song

A lot of people think like you and I have a feeling it's just gonna be a 2:30 song super normal. DON'T PUT YOUR HOPE TOO HIGH PLEASE

I was wondering if anyone had any Green Day Saviors tattoos yet.

I don't think it's a good idea getting a tattoo of this Belfast little boy

You could do the comedy and tragedy masks, one with the original face and the other with the album cover version, haha.   But yeah, something else from the era would be a much cooler tattoo.     Green Day zombies, the American Dream, or even that awesome guitar Billie uses in the video.

For the 3rd single which should be out by December , i guess they'll put out a ballad??

They have a good record with ballads and I think it's a good move since it'll draw in more audience before the album release.

Yes they have really good record with ballads, but I think the ballad single should be released after the album is released. BOBD and 21 Guns were the first singles after the album release. And while Still Breathing isn't a ballad, it's emotional. It was also the first single after release.

Those tracks are impacting more to the wider audience, let's say mainstream listeners. When the people who likes Green Day because of BOBD or WMUWSE are hearing new, emotional track, they might research what's more on the new album. If the ballad single is released before the album, there's nothing much more to find, and those listeners might not be interested to wait the new album and might forget about it.

There was this one advertisment text that talked only about the Songs "TADIKM" "Look Ma, No Brains!" and "Father to a son". Thats why i think that Father to a son might actually be the next single after look ma

Where did  you see that?

If it’s true I like the idea of them releasing three songs that sound very different from each other and can appeal to many different audiences. Say what you want about Green Day’s “iconic sound” but you can never accuse them of having songs that all sound alike like many bands

Yet people keep saying that all the time 😅
