I will not allow ANY Suzie Chapstick slander. One of the best Green Day songs made in the 2000’s hands down.

i have nothing additional to contribute that hasn’t been said already, but I really love this album

LOL Glad you love it but I respectfully disagree. It's just dull, sounds like someone else and not just in style but the melodies as well. I know I know, there's been enough talk of rehashed/stolen/ripped off melodies and riffs and blah blah blah. This song just feels uninspired to me.

My girlfriend was born 1982, so I've been singing it was that year instead.

I was born in 1981 so I'm very much digging this. Easily one of the best songs on the record. I admit I wasn't impressed when they debuted it live and then forced myself not to watch more recent live performances. I was blown away when I heard it at our local listening party!

This is a mature album. Unlike FOAM, it feels their age. The promotion has felt mature too.

100 percent agree with this.

Suzie Chapstick is one of my favorites because it's so different for them. Would love to hear what Billie originally had where it was a "bossa nova"

100%. Feels like it’s coming from a good, content, and confident place, whereas FOAM felt very uhhhh midlife crisis, not in a good place, trying to be something they’re not vibes. This whole era has felt mature and authentic.

Coma city is classic GD and Network! The outro alone is like Husker du and 39/smooth Kerplunk style jam! Yes!!

I don’t want to listen to anything else. Like for the whole year. I wanna hear this record every day of every month during every season! Just image summertime with these songs by the pool or the lake or the ocean!!!

Bobby Sox sounds strikingly like Centipede by Fidlar. Anyone else hearing this? Actually pretty identical.

Fancy Sauce reminds me of All the Young Dudes mixed with something you'd find on a grandiose 80s movie soundtrack. I really hope they play it live. You know that song that makes you tear up but you don't know why? That's this song.

THIS. Fancy Sauce gives me Tuesday's Gone-vibes by Lynyrd Skynyrd.

Hey, the record label didn't give me an early listen.  They never even responded to my email, 😄  oh well, it was worth a shot.

So true! This one time i think it is pretty much coincidental as the song was released last year.

Random thought, but they really did a good job promoting singles around holidays. TAKIDM was great with the zombies/Halloween...Dilemma had all of the partying/drinking holiday stuff and now Bobby Sox works so well for Valentine's Day.

Wow you're so right there

There's so much Rock history in this album. Nirvana, Beatles, Suicidal Tendancies, heck I even heard some parts that sounded like Everclear.   I want to know more about Billies listening....I did start diving into Bowie because of Billie.
