If this was the teaser 10 song then I can definitely see how this is interesting in the same way Letterbomb is interesting. What do you think Rob was trying to say when he said, “The feeling of playing over um…..”?

That Dude
Batteries were not included with Billie's robot purchase back in 2009, but the 2024 models do come with batteries. Poor Ole Billie had to do all the work himself back in the old days but not anymore. Now she (or he) comes with juice!!!!

The 2009 purchase, the robot only said "Are what you own that you cannot buy" for 10 hours straight That 2009 robot influenced Billie to live like he had nothing, mostly so he wouldn't accidentally buy an object that repeated itself for 10 hours straight. It drove him kind of batty, but they did have some good nights together. I hear it's in the clutched of a right-hand o Rama in Fink's trailer now. Saviors is awesome. I keep getting different songs popping into my head. This one, Coma City, all of them.

Doggins
Ok so after hearing everything enough times mostly from listening party recordings (so things will no doubt change) this is my list of most favourite to least favourite: Fancy Sauce Dilemma Father To A Son Goodnight Adeline Bobby Sox The American Dream Is Killing Me Living In The ’20s Strange Days Are Here To Stay Look Ma, No Brains! One Eyed Bastard Saviors Suzie Chapstick Coma City 1981 Corvette Summer Nothing really I don't particularly like (honestly Corvette Summer doesn't do it for me but may be a grower) Out of all 14 albums I'd say this is sitting around #7 so smack bang in the middle, not bad! Not bad at all!
Popular Post The Grohl
I'm surprised that Corvette Summer seems to be the least fave track amount a lot of fans who have heard the album so far. It's among one of my faves! I love that hook. Just a fun song.

I love that hook. Just a fun song. I wonder if it’s because it sounds like a FOAM track. I remember seeing a video on Billie’s Instagram back in late 2019 or early 2020 where he was recording overdubs and this is the song I heard in his earphones!!! So I have a theory. What if they actually started work on 1972/Saviors that far back? I remember that FOAM release interview where Billie said, “Maybe we’ll put out another album before the tour.” and then of course the pandemic delayed everything!!! Fast forward to December 2021 when we got the first 1972 teaser, so yeah, this all checks out!!! 5

Popular Post Christian's Inferno!
So... Green Day are playing American Idiot AND Dookie in full every night of The Saviors tour. Holy shit I do want to hear deep cuts from other albums too and idk if this will mean less new tracks will be getting played. But I'm totally happy with hearing deep cuts off both albums that rarely if ever get played anyway. American Idiot, especially. Idk if that album has ever been played in full live. Maybe a few times when it was first released? But there are tracks from that album that haven't been played live in well over a decade

StillBreathing
So here’s my little review It’s not an invitiation… I guess .. So ’ve listened to every song in HQ up to Coma City at least once. I have Strange Days and Saviors as well but I just can’t listen to the album for the first time through and skip songs. Look Ma, I have an OCD Brain! Also have only listened through a phone speaker as I have lost my headphones at the most perfect time. Moving house is such a Dillemma. First thought. Why have Green Day chosen the singles they have? Don’t get me wrong they are great songs. But they are typical Green Day. Which isn’t a bad thing. But if any hater heard any of these 4 singles they’d immediately point out the same problems they’ve had with Green Day for the last 20 to 30 years. Anyway first time hearing Bobby Sox, and the dynamic build through the song immediately drew me to think that Billie Joe wasn’t kidding when he said this is Green Days best album, at least in years. The Linkin Park esque vocals are chefs kiss too. 1981 was another catchy no brains- kind of tune. Until that bridge! Another chefs kiss. Goodnight Adeline. Wow. Billie Joe you are killing me you bastard. Billie Joe is such an amazing guitar player and vocalist and this record so far really does show it. This is the best he has sounded in years on record. And yes any of these songs would’ve been such better singles in my opinion. God Damn Green Day it’s like you want you piss people off. You Punks. 1
