I stand with American Dream as the best representation of the AI/21st CB era. The thing it feels kinda misplaced because the other songs are way far from it

is billie referring to jesus from AI or just the normal jesus some people really believe in? (strange days are here to stay)

Is Fancy Sauce perhaps a daft nickname for booze? The lyrics kinda make it look like it's a song about rehab?

In Australia we say (or used to say)  'hitting the sauce' when talking about drinking or getting drunk or you tell someone to stop drinking by saying 'stay off the sauce tonight'

I would see it as: stay off the expensive alcohol if you said 'stay off the fancy sauce tonight'

So I see the title Fancy Sauce as possibly referencing expensive or high quality alcohol.

Imagine if Graffitia was on saviors. Damn that album would rock so much harder.
Haven't seen this video, it looks awesome:

Was thinking about how some of the songs remind me of other songs:

Suzie Chapstick - Big Me by the Foos
Saviors - Sweet Child O Mine
Corvette Summer - Cigarettes and Alcohol by Oasis (especially the verses)

This isn’t a bad thing, I love spotting influences/accidental similarities!

They shoud keep graffitia for this album with this production, and don't use that great song in that horrible experiment

what is special about the deluxe version? i dont be a pro when it comes to vinyls, but why are 180grams better than the normal one?

In theory more weight gives more stability and it should result in better or more accurate sound. But I have no idea if the difference is obvious in reality

All the songs on Saviors were written before FOAMF happened.

Just imagine if they combined these two albums and made one with Covallo

Only one - two at a stretch - songs are worth rescuing from that album... So it would basically be Saviors plus Graffitia.

I dunno if it's true but wouldn't surprise me if most were, we already know Father to a Son was to some extent, I think a lot of songs get reworked and reworked until they're ready to fit that album

Alot of artists do this including bands like the beatles especially John lennon child of nature was an early version of what would become jealous guy from imagine modern bands like weezer rivers always has multiple sets of lyrics for his songs and reuses them later on for other albums

And Black Eyeliner eventually became Church on Sunday

its fun that u mention the beatles, there are a couple of things on saviors that give me beatles vibes.. even in TADIK the part the vocals are mixed when billie sings "ransom note"

dilemma is sort of ai-21cb the way how whatsername, both glorias and restless heart start as ballady songs and escalate into these powerful punk songs, that's what dilemma does in the chorus

https://youtu.be/bJ_OMbWJ46g?si=yovwfRBSPaeKRkzD I'm sure this was the inspiration for the riff for fancy sauce
