It's also why I'm not keen on ranking songs because out of the 11th new songs, goodnight adeline for me is 10th and people are very confused by that. I don't even hate or dislike it, I just had a more fun time with other songs

but what part?

I believe the changed up the riff like they did with strange days are here to stay

Just got out of my record store where they played it twice front to back.

This album is everything we wanted from RevRad in my opinion.

Bobby Sox and Corvette Summer are absolute bangers and everything that wasn’t already released was amazing. Saviors also a certified banger

Weakest links were Suzie chapstick and (unfortunately) father to a son in my opinion.

i respect ur opinion, it's honestly incredible as well how to me, every single song i didn't have a complete distaste. i think its just also im coming off of FOAMF and that was the first time i disliked a green day song

Appreciate the respect! I should have added, this is by far the best album in my opinion since 21CB. I really enjoyed all of it.

of the pick of the litter those two I didn’t like as much at the others but they are still great songs in their own right.

Living in the 20s

I'll need to give it another listen! Didn't hear it the first time but the video wasn't super high quality so maybe I missed it

Yeah I would hate to be in your position with people asking you to rank them and then when they hear it tell you XYZ song was better haha

Yeah exactly, Goodnight Adeline I think is a great song myself but I just didn't click with it as much. But I don't have my CDs yet so that's when I can truly decide.

Yeah, well I didn't get like "omg i cant believe you ur opinion is rwong" more just surprised I didn't like the song. Same with Suzie Chapstick but relistening I like it, it's just a little different to the others in a way and I think I was zoned out during it.

Crucify me for this take but:

I think saviors has a lot of aspects that resemble the trilogy. Specifically in the chord progressions and vibe of the songs. I felt a lot of similar sounds that I wasn’t expecting to hear tonight. But done really well - like if the trilogy was distilled down to one album, with heavier guitars, and focused production I think sonically there are a ton of parallels

Oh yeah for sure, trilogy had a lot of different sounds but the execution of it was not grand. I still respect them for even trying something like that, but this album feels so much bigger and really speaks out compared to those.

My guess would be 1981, since we just got a snippet of it from the Punk Bunny Coffee website

It's very shogazer like it's definitely a zone out kinda song

I personally think strange days are here to stay would make a good single and video

RevRad is my favorite album for personal, subjective reasons (don’t think it’s their best) so I’m really curious to not only hear how good Saviors is but how it will fit in my life

I’m reading all comments but trying not to listen to the phone recordings — only six days to go!

I wish you luck on avoiding them, I'm sure you'll love this album. It's really got a song for everybody on it honestly, to the point where this is my only chance and attempt to get my friends to listen to Green Day with me for once 😆

This is my 6th (three being the trilogy) GD album coming out since i started following the band and my first time listening without reading the forum the day before -  gonna be honest avoiding the phone recordings is worth it. Having your own fresh palate and opinion to listen is worth it

My bold guess is that it’s Bobby Sox

lyrically speaking it feels the most “young and in love” (do you wanna be my boyfriend/girlfriend lines) and could explain why the kids in the video look so young, especially since photos were requested to even get in!

I took a video of Coma City, I got the whole song. If the mods are ok with it then I'll post it later on

Could be. Did they ask for photos for Tadikm video shoot?
