Green Day US summer stadium tour 2024 w/Smashing Pumpkins, Rancid, Linda Linda's

Anyone here have experience with Hershey Park? I haven't seen my bb's since..... whenever the fuck they got inducted into the rock and roll hall of fame. So 2015?? Anyway, I want to bring my oldest (now a high schooler 😳 ) to her first show and Hershey is the nearest to where we live. HOWEVER. I'm seeing very negative reviews of the venue online and am playing with going to Pittsburgh instead. Thoughts? Experiences?

I live close and have been there for a few concerts. The sound isn’t the best and there is only seating on the ground or on the sides. Parking is kinda far as well. But it’s not TERRIBLE I mean you’ll still have fun I would think.

Thanks! For context the plan is to be in the pit.... hopefully on the barricade, but I gotta make allowances because she might not have the stamina to queue all day long and then rock out through a concert for a few hours

Anyone interested in trying to get GA/pitt tickets for the Hershey show? I’m from Scranton PA that’s the closest they are coming I saw them at Hella Mega but I need to see them up close I haven’t yet this will be my 4th time. Willing to split ticket cost.

I am going to say yet again that I am disappointed that they are making this a muti-band act again. It's not Hella Mega! This is supposed to be a Green Day tour. Why can't they keep it to one opener and then Green Day? Are they worried about not selling enough seats? If so, do an arena tour instead. I don't get why they keep pushing the stadium thing.  I will still go, but it's just exhausting and so fucking anxiety inducing for me to have to deal with that size of a venue. I already have anxiety about purchasing tickets, which is going to be hell again because fuck ticket master. I assume that the stadium shows are more expensive too, than if they played smaller venues. I could be wrong, though. I'm not really sure how that works.

When u went I showed up just before green day went on for Hella Mega. You dont have to be there for the whole thing

Me too! Oracle Park is the first venue I saw them at, during the AI tour. So excited they will be back there!

I’m hoping they fill in that slot between LA and Phoenix with Salt Lake on September 16th. Buuuut I think my wife might’ve convinced me to go to the SoFi stadium show so if that happens I guess we will have to go to both.

I very nearly skipped all of Hella Mega for this reason. I had zero interest in seeing FOB or Weezer, and told myself that I didn’t want anything to do with the gimmick package tour. Then I went to the Chicago show on a whim, purchasing a ticket the day of… then went to Minneapolis, and then to Milwaukee. It ended up being my favorite three week stretch of the year, and I had so much fun. Go out and see the boys while they’re still at the top of their game.
