I got 2 mid way seats for Atlanta today, still $366 all in. I was in a panic because it was painful logging in and, after checking out a few prices, these were the cheapest I could find.  I’m convinced I saw ridiculous prices for up front - $700 upwards but now think I must be imagining that because, well, RIDICULOUS!!$$.  Not a fan of stadium shows, think I’ll have to make an effort to see club shows from now on. I’m hopeful the setlist will make up for it as long as Dookie and American Idiot get the celebration they deserve.

I think one of my favourite things about Green Day was how “accessible” they were. I genuinely always felt they were a band with a special connection with their fans.
 

This whole ordeal is just so disappointing.

Well I'm glad I brought some comedy here... But compared to bruce springsteen tickets which were 350 for nosebleeds so these are not that bad compared.

Yup I remember getting seats for RevRad $40ish without fees that ended up being left of stage 2 rows from them. I wish they’d just play smaller to medium venues with an opening band.

I have the fondest memories of being front row of the Trilogy tour night after night, and only paying like $65 for it. Felt so good! RIP those were the days etc.

It’s pretty messed up how I’m getting paid more than I ever have in my career… but I’m struggling to justify one show near me, when there was a time where we were going to at least 5 shows a tour all over NA and it was easy to swing. Life is weird, man. 

Can The Longshot just come back? They wouldn’t do us dirty like this… :(

Same here. I’m getting a new job that’s about to pay me significantly more than I have ever made in my life. And there’s no way…. Heartbreaking isn’t the word for it

Billie et. al. just want money and that's fine, I gave it to them. I'll make more. But the irony is rich hahahahaa. 

The irony also isn't lost on me that their lead single from this album is about how nobody can afford the "American Dream" anymore.

I swear to god if they don't do a small club tour around the US/Canada before the Saviors Tour I'm going to scream Fuck Green Day. Right now I'm really angry at them about these ticket prices.

It does seem extremely weird..... but then I was on at 10 am on the dot and there were like 500 people ahead of me in line already for tickets so maybe all the cheap pit tickets got snapped up while I was waiting lol.

There are no more base level VIP packages available for the pit in Pittsburgh lol. Pit tix start at $494/apiece plus fees (fees were over $100 each for the tickets I bought earlier).

I would really hope this isn't the end for their smaller shows where they're the only headliner. Part of me wants to believe this is another "big stadium show" just to celebrate the anniversary of GD and SP's big albums. I was in the front row for Rev Rad tour at an arena for 80 bucks, like I expect the prices to go up since then, but this is ridiculous. I worked to get the cheapest seat which was still 80 dollars plus fees, what i paid for the PIT BEFORE.

Yeah there were only 200 for me at 10AM. All that was left was VIP pit for Green Day presale and standard. 😞

I'm gonna hold off on buying anything just cause there are so many seats available. Heck, I bought my ticket for Hella Mega day of, and it was cheaper than it had been the entire time they were available. 
On another note, my boss is getting tix to this for her son, but he may be back at school during the Philly date. But, I mentioned NYC on Monday and maybe that will be a trip we take. Still looking at potentially doing SF. But honestly, not looking for pit for these. I'd also rather wait a bit to see if any club shows are announced here before the end of the year so I can commit to those first.

As much as I'm bitching about the price and such.... Am I the only person here who actually prefers the huge shows vs. the club shows? People act fucking feral at those club shows and it's just not the vibe! The bigger shows are always so much more relaxed and fun in my experience.

In SF, PIT tickets kept alternating between available/unavailable, so you may want to just keep refreshing/waiting.. For me, instead of waiting, I just got a VIP ticket, lol :toocool:

Also, FYI for anyone, all the PIT tickets that were VIP, were only the top tier VIPs... 'Boulevard of VIP' (501+fees), 'Welcome To Paradise' (701+fees), and Zeros" Show Before The Show (951+fees). There was no PIT 'Calling All Saviors' or 'Celestial Colleagues" VIP Merch Package' (376+fees), only seats for those packages. Maybe more tickets are released on tomorrow's presale and/or the general sale? Yesterday, the Citibank presale PIT Tickets sold out very quickly, leading many to try again today. Hope this helps and see you all at the shows! :ga:
