It was the band finally acknowledging all the shit that went down and questioning why it takes near death experiences to bring them together again. And how no matter what they're always brothers. It's really touching. Ever since I heard the live debut of TADIKM it's been stuck in my head. That hook is fucking killer! Look I'm a FOAM fan, but it feels so good to see the boys back like this. Catchy hooks, biting social commentary, big riffs! I hate to say it but this is the classic green day we love. I'm all for them trying new things but this...this just feels so good! I love it all! My timing was crazy perfect I jumped in the car at noon to grab lunch and turn on my local alternative station (105.9 the X) just in case. (They never played anything from FOAM).
