Popular Post billy1986
They took a rock opera song and made it into a 3 minute wild ride amazingly done! I wish they just did a solo tour like 21st Century Breakdown instead of having big bands like a hella mega 2….but if the setlist is like this then WOW

But you’re right, the pandemic meant that they couldn’t really promote the album with a tour, and once Hella Mega started, people had already forgotten about the album. Although Billie did play Graffitia on that Live from Home thing during lockdown. And maybe last night proved they still have love for FOAM after all

I also wouldn’t mind if they played Sugar Youth live. They have such a rich catalogue, which is why it’s a shame that their recent setlist were so stale. I hope that they’ll use the next tour to actually play some of the new songs. But I’m optimistic, they seem to be excited about this new project.

Seems like they‘re doing festivals at first in EU and go back in July/August for Stadoum tour. It seems like Green Day are about to promote a new album when us Foam-Heads just want a video for Teenage Teenager Teenaging, which would have been their biggest song ever. Darn covid. 1 3
Popular Post Little Boy Named Booze
TADIKM is the name of the next album https://www.rollingstone.com/music/music-live-reviews/green-day-new-song-2024-tour-las-vegas-show-1234858900/ While Armstrong and the band debuted a song from their forthcoming album called “The American Dream Is Killing Me,” the evening was much more of an homage to Dookie, which celebrates its 30th anniversary in February. 4

Not confirmed here. It’s saying the name of the song from their forthcoming album.

This is them touring with those bands, they are the clear headliners. Just look at the size of the names on the poster compared to the hella mega ones. It’s not just a matter of set order in this case.

Popular Post pacejunkie punk
For those who are saying the little bridge in the songs sounds like basket case, I think it could be a deliberate callback to it. It fits the theme of going crazy and feels like an updated “state of the union” type song so a callback to an early song is cute. The song sounds so good live I can already imagine the crowds in stadiums chanting along.

With four bands there’s still only so many hours in an evening to perform
