I noticed on a post by Tre’s wife that they were in Cleveland at the same time. I get that GD wanted foam to be creative and different and all that jazz. I'm not a foam hater by all means, a few of the songs are quite fun. But after hearing these two recent songs - yeah I understand why a lot of y'all are foam haters lmao. I honestly don't know what it is about that album that makes it seem so inferior, most of the songs aren't bad bad. Maybe just because it wasn't that GD sound, which is obviously the sound we like? - Everytime someone writes "LMNB" I think of Little Boy Named Booze (even though it's not the same letters!) and get confused why everyone keeps talking about him - Checked this thread first and didn't realise the speculation thread had been closed til I read it here. I love the quiet parts in those songs (it's actually the only part of SDV that I like lmao) so it makes sense why that part of the new song stuck out to me on first listen. Somebody else said it would be nice if Mike sang that part in the new song like he does in SD&V - personally no I don't think it would be as good. I love it when Mike sings lead, but I feel he has a rougher voice that works better with certain music or certain vibes of emotions. I think this works better with Billie's softer voice, especially with the bits of falsetto. Think that's everything, it's been 2 hours since I started reading the thread so I may have forgotten a lot 😂 Overall I'm pretty excited for this era. I don't have a lot to compare the feeling to as I didn't become a proper fan until after Bang Bang, and I was kinda away from the band for the build up to foamf. But I'm hoping that it's a good sign and I'm not getting ahead of myself.
