¡Uno! was released 11 years ago today, Sept. 25, 2012. Whats your favorite song from the album? Favorite video? Favorite single?

Where does album stack up for you these days?

I love Uno! When talking about mashing together all the best trilogy songs to create one masterpiece album, I always include the majority of Uno! songs.

Angel Blue, Stay the Night, Rusty James, Sweet 16 are favs.

The only one I really skip is Troublemaker.

Omg I miss the Trilogy. Basically over a decade of the band not playing these awesome songs live!

I love Stay the Night and Fell for You. I like Oh Love a lot too. It’s an unexpected song.

My fav video from Uno is Stay the Night. I like the live performance shots of the band. They looked so cool and the song is so good!

Kill The DJ by an absolute landslide. Most of the songs are pretty generic and all sound the same except KTD, LYG (which I quite like but isn't amazing), Troublemaker (love the sound and some of the lyrics but definitely has some cringe in there too) and Oh Love (different sound and the chorus is catchy but otherwise just okay). I only like Stay the Night cuz of the acoustic version and Fell for you is nice. But I could not give less of a fuck about the rest of the songs tbh, they all blend in together for me. Kill the DJ on the other hand is unlike anything else they've done, funky af and probably one of their best songs in general tbh

Ok, I lied! Let’s get troublemaker into the top 5 streaming songs for this artist.

Seriously, I like Uno more than I like Rev Rad, possibly as much as 21cb! Uno is the closest we can get to a Kerplunk 2. They have the outliers (dominated love slave/kill dj) and all the love songs that sound young and reckless and especially in love.

Mikes bass playing stands out a lot more, almost back to  nimrod-levels of insanity!

Honestly, if it weren't for verse 2, I'd have no real problem with the lyrics of Troublemaker. Yeah, the chorus would be repetitive but it only appears twice in the song and the lyrics in the bridge and first verse aren't bad. The bridge is actually pretty good

My favourite songs from here are the singles. Oh Love, Let Yourself Go and Kill the DJ are the tracks that stand out the most to me but really the entire first half of the album is really solid. The quality does drop after Kill the DJ. Fell for You is really one of the most generic songs throughout the trilogy. Most of the other songs after Fell for You are quite generic too but not necessarily bad. They have their moments, they're catchy enough.

I feel that UNO has aged the best of the Trilogy, and that it’s very much underrated. I’ve always maintained that it’s the Kerplunk! sequel that never was. Just such a fun album to listen through, and songs like Angel Blue, Rusty James, and Sweet 16 are better than they get credit for.

Stay The Night is a top 3 Green Day song for me!

Agreed. Its aged well vs the other 2 and seems to fit their sets and discography seamlessly

Uno feels the least gimmicky compared to the other two. Its just classic power pop rock back to basics green day. If it wasn't released right after 21st id like to think it would be better received by critics and fans.

Some songs do have some cringy ass lyrics though i l say that.

Nuclear Family is the best

Rusty James and Fell For You are top tier.    Then Loss of Control and Oh Love are excellent as well.   Then it's Stay the Night, Kill the DJ and Sweet 16.   TRILOGY RULES!   Anything but the mainstream!!!!!!

Love UNO and always play it in full . All the songs fit perfectly.

For me the standout track is "Kill The DJ". Wik' claim it's influence is from dance punk.

Billie Joe's guitar playing is awesome. The instrumental break in the middle is something else. Get goose bumps every time I hear it.

I love it too. It makes me laugh too during the chorus

Gimmicky would not be a word I use to describe the trilogy. I guess the concept of a trilogy is a gimmick in itself but in terms of the sound of each album, I wouldn't say any of them are gimmicky. I guess Nightlife is a gimmick but otherwise, I don't see gimmicks within each album

I play the Trilogy all the time, surprisingly more than a lot of Green Day albums. Uno and Tre have been heavy in the rotation.

For Uno it's gotta be Carpe Diem or Stay The Night. Kill The DJ is really good, i'd say it's the single that most fans weren't expecting, but damn it's a vibe. Take that back, Oh Love being a single was unexpected haha...
