There’s something really special about the Pinole Valley High School performance. To think they’re playing those songs and kids are just casually watching or walking by. Just another rock band setting up playing. Fast forward years later and these songs get played at massive festivals and venues now to thousands of people a night. There’s also a special 93 performance (blanking on where the show was sorry!) where they played a lot of dookie songs. I purchased Dookie and Frogstomp on cassette tape at the same time, and to this day, GD and Silverchair are my favorite bands ever. Specially since those are the main singles, I wonder if they changed them more because they worked on the singles more than the other songs? And also the When It's Time 🥰 Probably there are other versions lying somewhere, but when the guys recorded Dookie in 93 all the songs were finished, at least lyric wise.
